It is more than possible to ring-down a bell of that weight in two whole strokes. Have seen it done. Mind you i have no sympathy for the [probable] state of their hands. And it probably isn't good for the ropes either!

Correct, I think this is more the case of ringing down the correct way!

not quite sure it's correct...
well - technically the only problem was the jumping lol! now, the challenge is... how long does it take u to ring up a treble bell???
and heres a trick question, how many strokes does it take me to get up a 'mini ring' bell
it takes me about 30 seconds to raise OUR treble. How long did it take you to ring up a mini ring treble????
1 strong quick pull!
lol what has that got to do with this video if you dont mind me asking???
You have a dirty mind, I meant you just pull the sally hard once and then the bell is up!
i once pulled a bell up in 10 seconds lol
really where was it?
treble at st stephen in brannel
well done.
Nice straight pull
Do you do the "kuckoo" action?
no i don't do that
I tried that on our tenor and it went dreadfully wrong.
How are you mate?
Lol at the time it seemed to come down quicker!
