  • The main virtue of rebounding is the safety of its low impact. The alternating unilateral effort of simulated jogging diminishes some of that safety, especially for the lower back. I understand that people need for variety & novelty, but on a purely physical basis, there's no reason to rebound with any technique other than a 2-foot bounce: It's a full-body workout with the highest effectiveness & greatest safety.
