  • that was shit

  • the nba's greatest playoff moment was an offensive foul

  • NBA's 60 Greatest Playoff Moments: #1 Michael Jordan, I only have one question to ask....Who else?

  • Greatest play in playoff history by the gratest to ever play the, game

  • Why didn't they show the whole play? The shot on it's own doesn't make it the best play in the playoffs unless you include the steal off Malone.

  • no way that should be number 1. sorry bulls fans, but larry bird or havelecheck stole the ball should have been 1. no disrespect

  • @maxoid5 non taken, but no one agrees with you.

  • Bulls Win!!! Bulls Win!!! Bulls Win!!!

  • What a good way to end his career as a Chicago Bull. Game winner for a championship

  • Anybody else notice that Lebron James isn't in any of these top 60 greatest playoff moments?? lmao

Some of you are probably thinking.."Lebron James..who's that?" well if you only watch the fourth quarter of every NBA game then your best bet is to probably go ask Cleveland..Miami would lie to you and say he's the best ever..ha what a joke

  • @HardknockS231 this 60 greatest moments was until 2006

  • this shot inspires me...and cry a little....michael jordan rules...nw the next mj....derrick rose

  • The 5 starters and the coach disliked this

  • This was a FOUL

  • @77Happy77 No, it was 90s.

  • @Dadashov92 I meant the pushoff, asshole

  • @77Happy77 lol at kids like you. calling someone an asshole for nothing is sooo mature,

  • @Dadashov92 Awwww, an QQer whining about something on the internet, waaaaaaah

  • This shouldn't be number 1. Out of all of the things that are in the list that involve Michael I would say this is the sixth best thing he did. Don't know how this is number 1.

  • lol if it was a push then the direction of Russell's head would fell AWAY from Jordan but the video clearly shows it was falling TOWARDS Jordan. Face it, Russell got pwned with an ankle breaker from the GOAT

  • @Tenkuuken look closer russel was only falling towards jordan because he was trying to recover to get a hand up. he didnt get pwned it was a trick, some will say it was dirty some will say it was crafty, but you gotta do what you gotta do to win. it was a push, does it take anything away from what jordan has accomplished? no.

  • @youngbuck0911 Man damn you... MJ was 27 and Magic was 31... It's NOT like saying Kobe vs MJ... plus Magic won his first Championship BEFORE his prime! Kobe was 17! When he got drafted and 18! when the season started!! He was BEFORE HIS TIME!... Like I said the IGNORANT shouldn't speak!! Shut yo ass up!!

  • @2kahlah Preach, MJ deserves the title, 72 - 10 Bulls record, 63 against celtics, all those buzzer beaters and this shot as his last shot as a bull..

  • What a picture perfect ending to an extraordinary career? Don't you agree?

  • You muthafukas is smoking CRACK!! Michael DID face Bird, Magic, Isiah Thomas and the REST of the Legends from the 80's!! His Bull team had to go through the same Piston team that DEMOLISHED the Lakers WITH Magic Johnson!! AND to top it off who the FUCK did you think MJ RAN through to GET his FIRST championship dummy???!!... That's rite MAGIC JOHNSON and the Los Angeles Lakers!! The ignorant shouldn't speak.... You can't discredit shit with this one. The proof is in the pudding patna...

  • @2kahlah thats like saying kobe played against MJ... they werent in their prime you moron

  • anyone sick of that intro by now?

  • Anyone know the song that's used in these videos?

  • Pushed-off and got away with it ..and its the BEST??...Those Bulls were no match for the Pistons, Showtime Lakers or the Celtics

  • who cares if he pushed off. it's clutch time in the nba finals you think refs are gonna call that shit back then? they let the players decide the game, unlike now when niggas break a fingernail and officials call a tech. watch some old school games on nbatv and you'll see that shit all the time mostly in the fourth quarter and they never call it.

  • @thefdrscanlon you obviously never watched Jordan in the 90s when he became an incredible team player. And second rate? David robinson? Hakeem Olajuwon? Dominique Wilkins? Clyde drexler? You sir do not know what greatness is.

  • Jerry West's was better

  • Yeh i'm reading comments like it's nothing special, and it's only because it's MJ, but this shot is only half the story of how really great this play was. Before this shot bulls were down by 3 less than a minute to play, jordan lays it up, bulls down by 1. Jazz ball malone in the post, stolen by jordan, he dribbles up the court, isolation on russel and than clutch shot, and from a player this shot is PERFECT!

  • This might have been clutch had the Bulls been down by one, and it was game seven. No, it was game six, against the Jazz, and he pushed off, and though not his fault he never had to face a Kareem or a Magic or a Bird or a Russell. He won in an era of second tier hall of famers; When he was playing against the first tier guys in the eighties, it was 5 and out in the playoffs. People should realize that BBall is a team game, and although Mike was an OK TEAM player, he was no visionary like BrdMagc

  • @TheFDrScAnLoN He never faced Kareem, Magic or Bird? Please stop smoking so much crack. You just made a complete and utter fool of yourself.

  • bulls fans complain about the reggie miller push off but pause the video at :05 and you see Jordan's hand is on the defender's butt and he pushed off too. Quit hating on great basketball moments and just admire the clutch shots

  • @SSROCKLEGEND Reggies shot was as clutch as it gets. Upsets me too when people complain. In my opinion, Reggie was the best shooter ever.

  • Bryon Russell knelt before God

  • Only The God deserves this spot and rightfully Michael Jordan.

  • Why are you people bitching and complaining about this being number 1? Are you kidding me? The greatest of all time hits a game winner to win his final championship after one of the greatest (possibly the greatest) sports dynasties of all time...How is that not amazing to you people?

  • Is that not the most picture-perfect jump shot you've ever seen? The form, the swish, the stakes, everything?

  • I'm one of those people who thinks Jordan is the greatest athlete of all time, but seriously, the makers of this list need to get off Jordan's dick. Since the inception of the NBA, there have been SO MANY more worthy moments that deserve this spot.

  • that's what she said

  • should be Nowtizki now!

  • @MrVeryMusical Dirk sucked... Terry gave u the win over the heat

  • @TheMoparDrvr lol so in game 2 terry gave mavs the win?

  • @TheMoparDrvr dont forget the thunders series where dirk made a 15pts comeback by himself

  • @MrVeryMusical yea w/e.... Dirks seriously had an amazing season.... but he has a totally stacked team mixed with half veterans and half talent.... i mean everyone contributed in the finals including the worst players on the mavs... i mean you can argue bararea was the least likely to contribute and he did on every series.... Dirk got his ring cause his team carried him or he carried his team but regardless the 2011 mavs where 1 of the most fully depth team in the NBA

  • @TheMoparDrvr i know the mavs won it together but im talking about dirk's comeback performance should be one of the greatest playoff moments as opposed to you saying dirk sucked????

  • @MrVeryMusical dirk is pretty much gnna go down in history as the top 5 big men to EVER play the game... no doubt in my mind he really ruins opposing teams by the mismatches he causes.... but that beings aid his 2011 reg season was amzing... his overall playoff performance was pretty bad, the only time he came out was the last 2 min of 50% of those games.... last i checked theres 48 mins to a game and playing real good in 2 of them dosnt equate to me at least having a "Good Performance"

  • The last shot Michael Jordan took as a Chicago Bull... Sad..

  • @TurnMySwagOn911 You should be happy, it won a title.

  • #1? This is better than Willis Reed playing on one leg? This only happened because Karl Malone never learned fundamental hoops. "Hey, you're 6'9"--when you hold the ball in the post, do so over your head, so the little guys can't steal it!" This is the Jordan Corporation at work. If Malone knew how to pass, Jordan would have been exposed cos he left Hornacek, who if you watch the play, was a bounce pass away for a 10 footer. As always, "God" beat a tier two finals team, weak stuff, NOT "#1" dummy

  • @TheFDrScAnLoN just enjoy it for what it is

  • @TheFDrScAnLoN Willis Reed only had 4 points that game. Impressive and inspiring that he went out there but compared to the greatest of all time hitting a picture perfect (even posed) jump shot to win the NBA championship and it's his last shot before retiring? I gotta go with Mike.

  • Michael Jordan's Career is like a Sports movie. I mean it couldn't be a more perfect story.

  • i love watching jordan vids but not this one, he clearly pushes rusell...

  • Now if Jordan never retired... would Olajuwon have gotten those 2

  • @shizzmogris i think about that too. to be honest they were on a roll if jordan didnt leave he would have 8 rings

  • @23oscarmania yea in a row... forreal he coulda kept playin up until 2000 and still been killin it

  • @shizzmogris that will be a great match up for sure but i think yes, bulls will win those two not the rockets

  • Bcuz of Jordan, Stockton and Malone never had titles, Ewing never got one, Kemp and Gary Payton never got one... oh wait payton got one from da heat didnt he... well he shamefully got one, Barkley never got one... he's mad sum superstars miserable

  • lebron travled

  • Brought tears to my eyes

  • the look on john stockton's face is priceless. much love for stock though, hall of famer with no titles, damn shame.

  • The way he stands there after the shot, makes it CLASSIC. #23 forever.

  • this would of been better if this would of been his last shot, not a free throw at washington.

  • Why is this number 1? There were several better than that, Jerry West's half court shot, Bird's steal, etc

  • @mike34r3455 It was the last play of the best player ever, one of the greatest sports dynasties, game 6 of the finals and the most watched NBA game in history. How couldn't it be number 1?

  • @mike34r3455 It was a clutch shot almost last second shot that gave Jordan his 2nd threepeat. Plus, the nba tends to suck MJ's dick a lot lol

  • @mike34r3455 Because its the greatest player ever in his last finals where he hits the gm winner again even though everybody watching knew he was going to get the ball, also it wasn't Birds steal it was Isiahs TO.

  • Greatest NBA pushoffs.

This should be number 1 because it illustrates what the NBA really is, a star getting a call he doesn't deserve.

  • @reggiecleveland Absolutely. I don't care if it was the deciding game of the NBA Finals, if ANYONE else in the league had done that push-off, the basket would have been cancelled and the shooter hit with (an obvious) offensive foul. I was rooting for the Bulls slightly, but I was stunned when there was no call. Talked with 4 of my buddies who have followed the NBA since the early 1960s like me, and they were in shock, also. They said it was a sign of how far the NBA had fallen.

  • @VrgniaMailman wrong. no official is going to call a sissy foul when it is clutch time in what could the the final game of the nba finals, no matter who the player. they let the players decide the game (unless of course it's a flagrant or something outrageous).

  • @diamenz You are very accurate in first word of your reply. You ARE wrong; Jordan pushed defender on the hip, a place on the body that is crucial for balance. It would have not been a sissy foul, but a good call. The NBA ref blew it big time. One of the most disgraceful officiating moments in NBA history. That is not just my opinion, either. I was living in a metropolitan area when this happened, and several guys whose opinion I respected got so angry they stopped watching the NBA.

  • @tastycajun0381 i don't know maybe to take your game to new heights, to be not only the best player YOU can be, but the best player in the WORLD. yea, of course every player wants the ring, and thats the main reason why they play, but what i mean is how do rings gauge how good a player is when its a team effort? Let me ask you this: what single nba player has EVER led his team SINGLEHANDEDLY to a championship..?

  • @tastycajun0381 since when are rings individual awards? i guess Robert Horry is better then Jordan and Kobe because he has 7 rings according to you right?

i guess you think Fisher is better then John Stockton because he has 5 rings and Stockton has none, i hate when people ignore Facts and production & bring up team success to try & prove an individual player is better then another it just makes you a small minded NBA fan

  • @OperationTreadStone Your comment is stupendous. Seriously. One of the very greatest NBA players of all time, Elgin Baylor, never won an NBA Championship, and I think another one, Jerry West, had only one (1972). Reason? Mostly the Boston Celtics of the 1960s. Even Wilt only had two, I think, 1967 with the 76ers, and in 1972 with West and the Lakers.

  • eh, better plays. If this was anyone other then Jordan it would be back in the 40s

  • @dravin815 yea i agree... but that being said its prob #1 because of the significance behind that 1 shot* which was not only Jordans shot that gave him the 6th title also makes it his final and most clutch shot of his career

  • @dravin815 Well I don't know about 40's if it was still a game winner in a Finals clincher, it would at least be 20, but I agree with you. It absolutely shouldn't be number 1.

  • @playoffexpert1 if it included the quick layup and the strip from malone then it should be top10 atleast :)

  • @tastycajun0381 rings don't mean everything.

  • offensive foul?

  • this is so gay this is not even in same galaxy as #4 the bird steal jordan highyl overrated and overmarketed jeeeessh hell he shoulda fouled outa most gmaes he played in first half with his hakin and travelling

  • @tastycajun0381 In '97 we lost to the Jazz in Game 6 of the WCF on Stockton's 3.

  • this shouldnt be number 1 tho

  • with a little butt shove to booth

  • Take that jazz, hows it feel losing like the Rockets did at the last second ;)

  • Ok, Chicago down by 3, Jordan drives to the basket, scores, probably with a foul, and cuts the Lead for the Jazz to only 1 point. Now Malone has the ball, but Jordan steals the ball, he runs to the other side of the court, drives, stops, shoots to win his 6th title, nothing but net... Gotta love this moment!

  • with all of respect.. this not no.1

  • @seigalasasin what is better than the final shot taken by the greatest player of all time? (i kno he played on the wizards but w/e)

  • @estamuybien hehe.. ok..

  • Like if you watched all 60-1 in a row.

  • @dodogrko this guy did!

  • Magic's hook shot against the Celtics was more impressive, especially since it was done in the Boston Garden. Good times!!

  • gotta love jon stocks reaction at the end

  • this play deserves top 10 because of the moment but not number 1... lol

  • jordan is the best player to ever play no doubt..........but if that was any other player, that would have been a push-off, especially how his left hand extends, not taking anything away

  • the 31 people who dislike this are utah jazz fans lol

  • THANK YOU for posting this

  • how do people dislike this....1. He made my mans fall..2.He made the shot 3.Won the game..4.MADE HIM FALL...and 5...he's MJ..lol

  • thumps up if you saw all 60 and this is the last one

  • ok look, jordan is arguably one of the greatest nba players ever, but this number 1? come on. its just the nba kissing up to mj again. this shoud atleast be in the top 20 but not 1. erving's defying gravity shot is better then this.

  • @lechoke69 ervings shot was fucking magical, whereas this was something most guys can do at a park. Still MJ is the greatest, yadda yadda yadda.

  • @lechoke69 You are crazy. MJ's final shot of his career with Chicago to win the finals...Nothing tops this

  • @lechoke69 when you put it into context i definitely see it as #1. The end of his bulls career.

  • @lechoke69 Well, after scoring the game winning shot of the game 7 of the finals for the 6th ring. Hell yea it is....

  • @lechoke69 last shot of MJ's career should be No.1 always, especially when it is a shot for the ring.

  • 0:14 Stockton's disappointment.

  • I don't understand how fishers 0.4 second fadeaway is nowhere in this list

  • @CrAzYjAy19961 For real! And ironically enough, Duncan's shot on the other end right before it with Shaq all over him. Both were contested shots in very high-pressure situations. Fisher's is better though because of the time left, but still, I think both are better than this.

  • @CrAzYjAy19961 It's number 18

  • The physical hand checking basketball from the 1990s. Thats what i was watching

  • How the hell was this #1??? Its a great shot, but definately should not be #1. John Paxson's winning 3 was better than this.

  • @TheLordofHunt No. This won the championship and capped off the career of the greatest player ever.

  • To all of those who think it`s a push-off: NBA used to be a physical league where body contact, hand checks and sometimes even shirt-pulling was allowed. Big boys were throwing elbows in the paint fighting for a board. Russel clearly has his hands on Jordan who simply brushes him off, the cross had Russel off balance anyways...

  • I don't think is a push-off, but I don't understand why it's glorified as the greatest moment of all time. It's iconic because it's Jordan, but that's about it. I've seen dozens of more exciting/entertaining plays down the years that don't get the deserved recognition

  • @daveytheviking You have to take in consideration the circumstances of this shot... Not only it`s the game-winner, but like you said it`s the closing line of MJ`s glory book... I mean, how more legendary can you get when you end your career by hitting a game winner on the road to get your 6th championship? If you think an off-balance shot by Iverson is better than this that`s your opinion but to me, that is the greatest sports moment ever. If you had seen it live you would understand...

  • oh please this si so lame, bird steal from isaiah in last second pass t dj is no 1 by far and away, jordan and bulls won cuz hacked shit outa ther team on d no fouls called

  • @bootiack lol dude he won 6 championships because of that one, larry just won a few and that shot is MJ's final moment of the 90's NBA story book

  • @bootiack are u stupid basketball was actually rough not anymore

  • I wanted to see Father's Day Game in the top 60, but they were all pretty great!

  • Never understood how this is THE greatest moment.

  • @stevo2440 Because it's an iconic moment that summarizes the iconic career of the most iconic player in the history of the game. LOL. :P

  • He Pushed Off

  • great shot and all but he did push russel away from him

  • to all those who say that Jordan pushed off: THIS IS A GROWN MAN TEAM PLAYING A PHISICAL GAME IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES! Man up! play through the ticky tack fouls.

  • mj is a good player but this number 1 why not "the shot" or 63 points or something else

  • mj is a good player but this number 1 why not "the shot" or 63 points are something else

  • abuse ... plain and simple

  • thumbs up if you watched the whole countdown!

  • They moment should really include the blindside steal he makes on Karl Malone the play before also.

  • its the greatest moment becuase there is controversy...

  • no way #1 that dude push off.

  • @hailhopes THAT DUDE? How can you refer Micheal Jordan to " that dude"

  • 28 people thought Jordan pushed off

  • I choose the video with the best moment, I don't doubt that there will be a Michael Jordan... Silly question of course who will be #1 because it will always be reserved for him

  • First a score in to bring the Bulls to within 1. Then a steal on the defensive end. Then the game winning shot.

  • the 28 haters are Mormon"sssss and Malone/stockton's family

  • @nwa974 that's not funny dude, have some respect. don't mention their names.

  • @yopepoy peace

  • look at that form

  • not worthy of number one, sampsons shot should be number one

  • clearly an offensive foul

  • @nasoszeppos Not back then, it wasn't.

  • @Amaizenblue86 lol for real

  • The "NBA's Greatest Playoff Moments" is basically just Michael Jordan's highlight reel.

  • @Amaizenblue86

    no its not

  • Thanks bluzeric, now i know there's at least one more person who agrees with me.

  • you guys fuckin kiddin me ? he stole the ball, run the court, masterfully tricked russel (one of best defense guards at the time) got up and like some god, teared it through the hoop. game, set, match. finals, last game, last shot. best shot in history of nba, from the best player in history of nba. thank you michael.

  • Are you motherfuckers kidding me? THIS is the greatest playoff moment? What about Larry Legend stealing the fucking inbounding pass from Thomas? Everyone makes clutch shots, Ginobili and Neal did it in game 5 vs Memphis, what's special?

  • @kantwu Think about it. This isn't just a game winner. It's Michael Jordan's last shot as a Chicago Bull. This is the last shot of an amazing dynasty and career that several people would kill just to have. This was not just the end of a game, it was the end of a golden age in basketball. MJ was the greatest, and this is the last image, a perfect story book ending for an amazing chapter in his career. 6 champs in 8 years. 6 finals MVP's. Next time, do your research.

  • @MCtotheJOE001

Took the words out of my head, Props for an excellent explanation

  • @LBJ1996 Thanks. I was actually 7 at the time this happened and I was watching this unfold at the United Center where they were broadcasting the game on the scoreboard. The great thing about this moment, and you can see it in the fans over in Utah, is that as soon as the ball left his hands you knew for a fact it was going in. I think that was another thing that makes this a very appropriate #1.

  • @MCtotheJOE001 That doesn't make it a great playoff moment, so no, your argument is irrelevant.

  • @kantwu My argument is completely relevant. It doesn't have to be an amazing clutch play to be the greatest moment of all time. For this, it's not all flash, but fire. It is the final last stand for MJ, the all time greatest, the man who changed the game into what it is today. Sometimes you have to look at things a little deeper instead of just scratching the surface and disliking it because it wasn't an amazing play. You are probably on the Kobe bandwagon seeing how much you hate on MJ.

  • @MCtotheJOE001 You're probably sucking Queen James's dick right now seeing how much you hate on Kobe.

  • @kantwu I never implied that I like or hate either Kobe or LeBron. I am forever and always a die hard Bulls fan. Growing up in Chicago during that era was the shit, no other fan of any other team could talk shit about the Bulls and Jordan. We were on top of the world and that was one of the greatest feelings as a sports fan that I will ever experience. You on the other hand probably never experienced that, and you are OLDER than me. It's a crying shame if you have not seen MJ play.

  • @MCtotheJOE001 I never implied that I like or hate either Bird or Jordan. Speak for yourself, or stick His Travelness's cock back in your mouth and suck on. It's a crying shame your ignorance is so profound.

  • listen you little kids

back in the Day, those little pushes and touches were not FOULS.

Nowadays, even the slightest touch is a foul.

  • G.O.A.T

  • It looks like mj pushed the other guy.

  • @dexteri more like brushed him off his shoulders hah

  • everyone get over it it is the greatest moment in the history of the NBA.

  • MJ = overrated

  • @thenintendogamer Yeah f in right..... Get real bruh.

  • Jordan pushed the guard using his left hand, causing the guard fall down. Was that legal?

  • @deepleeqe yes.

  • @XuShoe this was his last shot in the finals/playoffs... ;)

  • This was the last shot from GOAT MJ. Then he came back to the Wizards and made a joke of himself :P

  • @dixonmixin10 joke of himself? scoring 51 points at 38 and 43 at 40 is hardly a joke of himself, and id like to add at 40 years old he was still playin 37 minutes a game and averaging 20 points per game on 44% shooting, which is better than quite a bit in the nba...i mean yes i agree he was nowhere near what he used to be as a ballplayer at that point, but nowhere near a joke of himself...i mean c'mon what other 40 year old do you know that could've done that?

  • @kbjohnson85 Please. Even the most die-hard of MJ fans can't defend the shittiness that was his Wizards comeback.

  • @CoolerKing37 well this one did, his stats were not that bad and neither was his play, u act as if its commonplace for a 40 year old to do that...anyone in the nba with his stats that he had as a 40 year old, anyone would call a good player nowadays...it has nothing to do with being a jordan fan...i think anyone who calls it shitty play are just comparing him to the jordan he used to be

  • @dixonmixin10 And YET he is still considered the best player ever!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What makes this so great is the sequence. MJ scores in 4 seconds off an inbounds pass. Then steals the ball from Malone. Then hits the game winning shot. Crazy.

  • Even without the push off, which was cheating, that was the greatest moment in the history of the NBA playoffs? Really?
