Hi Kristy, read your question, To measure your dog run a tape measure from the nap of your dogs neck to the base of his/her tail also do a small sample size, try 6"x 6" sample, to get the info of how many stitches to the inch This is helpful when changing wool and needle sizes. Hope this hepls.
Hey kristcoon29.... My pup is approx. 8lbs she's a malti-poo. You can adjust the pattern for your dog just by "fitting" the sweater on the doggy as you go. I'm editing another series for a dog sweater and this one has more precise directions for the different sizes :-) Thanks for watching... Keep on yarnin'
