Thanx, all my videos are totally by ear, first I figure out the key, than I figure out the melody. You have to just try it for yourself, but it definitely helps when you know what key the song is in! This song is in F sharp minor so I'm using F sharp minor pentatonic, and the relative major which is A major.

Yeah, the chorus "Can we pretend that..." is like the song, everything else is improv. You should know that you can get quite a lot of improv just out of the F sharp pentatonic scale, I don't really go out of it except to A major, which is relative major.
