ok, i'll write a review before i hear this cover. billy bragg is distinct and a great song writer. this cover is not a DCFC strong suit, to say the least. it's a powerful poppy song about dysfunctional love drunks. DCFC is more cerebral. they don't have the rangeto cover this song. lets see if i'm right..... yep, seems like it. they might as well do a lady gaga cover, why not.

The term "emo" is so corrupted these days. People refer to bands as "emo" even when they aren't truly emo. DCFC is a true emo band, Union Station (or whatever) is not.

The whole concept of 'emo' is messed. Are we saying all songs and bands before the likes of Hawthorne Heights, etc weren't emotional? Emotion is inherent in music from its very beginning- blues, punk, jazz, rock, music is emotional. I love typically labelled 'emo' bands- Death Cab (why people call them emo has confused me for years), Thrice (again), Dashboard Confessional but I reject the labelling of music as being exclusively 'emo'.
