Who is the total moron standing behind Cronkite duiring the early part of the broadcast at 2:25 to 2:56 with a goofy smile? And how the hell did he even get to be in the studio to be broadcast on a live show? It is obvious he had no business being there and someone finally pushes him off screen...it is amazing that this was not audible.
I guess morons exist in every age, not just today's culture.
At 6:30pm(et), Cronkite's evening newscast went on, as scheduled. This was a "special edition", for obvious reasons, with no commercial interruptions.
