Well, it's simple, even if a lot of hardcore XBox 360 fans don't want to face it; the PS3 has more to offer, better processing speed, the possibility to read even Blu-Ray disc, and so on, the future is looking bright for Sony because the games are getting bigger and bigger (the data of the games) and one day, the game developpers will have to swith from multylayer DVDs do Blu-Ray discs, otherwise they can't improve the game quality, so ehm... Sorry bro ;)

What games do you mean? Haha, Halo? Even if XBox has some XBox-exclusive games and the PS3 server was hacked, how does Microsoft plan on competing against Sony, when their consoles are outmatched in quality by far? Look at it: How many people have already experienced the red ring of death? Yeah, some PS3 have also had a problem with the yellow light of death, but still there are more complaints about such problems on Microsoft's side.

@Gaisgersius yeah, not just halo, there are all kinds of games that are exclusive to the xbox that ps3 fans would kill for, classics like dead or alive4, and the fact that you can play almost all of the original xbox exclusive games on xbox 360, and the fact that microsoft has sega, and just because ps3 has blu-ray doesn't really mean anything when xbox is already on par with HD material, and i'm pretty sure the ylod has happened to more than just a few ps3's, and just never been reported

And in my opinion it sucks if you have to stop your game and insert a second disk, if you use a XBox 360, this is what you'll have to do. However, PS3 users don't have to bother about inserting other disks and such things. And the processor speed of the PS3 is clearly higher, which means you can make games which need more power to run without trouble ;)

@Gaisgersius what do you mean stop your game and insert a second disk? if i wanted to run a disk on the xbox 360 without any trouble then i would simply use the install feature which enables me to run most of the game from the hard disk drive, thus reducing the amount of power it uses, and prevents the chances of console meltdown(rrod) hmm i wonder if you can do such a thing on the ps3 ;)
