  • I would love a medium size of Coraline's star sweater. o.o

  • very talented!

  • Hope you didnt think about shrinking things when you saw your husbands penis..

  • I want to shrink everything I can so I can use real humans as my toys >:)

  • 3 people washed their miniature wool sweaters.

  • Althea Crome is a talented knitter.

  • People like this amaze me.

  • 2 people don't like being shrunk.

  • :O that woman is.....AMAZING!

  • a sweater for leprachauns!

    cool video

  • @AskHandsomeThomas Its for the fckin film coraline idiot

  • @cutejessieboo321 take it easy, i did not even know about the movie.

  • @cutejessieboo321 Yes, but who do you think got it when the film was done? Leprachauns get cold too, darling.

  • This woman is AMAZING

  • I got to have the clothing in 1:20.

  • 1:53 ... size xxxs? More like xxxxxxxxs ? xD

  • I feel like this woman would adore ball jointed doll tinies.

  • Whoa ! ! !

  • OH DEAR GOD IF I TRIED THAT I WOULD RIP MY HAIR OUT. When I knit with normal needles/yarn it takes me hours to finish and I usually mess it up! I cannot BELIEVE how they did THIS.

  • nice like :o :)

  • I CANT EVEN KNIT NORMAL SIZED THINGS! 0-0

  • 1:20 How the hell is that possible?? Soo much detail

  • Hello! I have never even imagined that this type of thing goes on! Coraline is simply amazing! The passion and desire to accomplish this is outstanding! Joey Vaughan "World Blues Attack"

  • I am a knitter, but watching those tiny needles and the fine thread makes me realize I couldn't even see to do this, Wow.

  • You know, you see these sorts of things and you automatically assume that they must be done by a factory, because knitting them by hand would be beyond the impossible. And yet...

  • Where does one get needles that small? They would be great for knitting lace.

  • whoa!! cute!

  • ☻______☻

  • @CaroL0vex

    how you do tht botton?????

  • Comment removed

  • well i mean it is amazing! it really is but, think, could she do lets say a poly pocket sweater cuz if the needles have to be that small and thin for a pretty good sized puppet i mean polly opckets are WAY smaller than Coraline and the other charectars, ya think she couyld do it?

  • @funnyperson167 She already mentioned that some of her needles are almost the dimension of a human hair. To have needles that go smaller than that wouldn't be possible - you'd be talking in terms of microns and it wouldn't even be visible to the eye.

  • wow....i'm a knitter and i'm speechless!

  • oh my god

you are the best !!!! dolphin sweater is perfect!!!!!!!!!!!

  • lol imma put tht sweater on meh finger and draw a face on it......show it to my cat and SNAP! he'll bite my finger off..........he doesnt like people

  • cute!!

  • cute

  • cute!!!!!!!!!

  • i've tried knitting with toothpicks. it's very hard...

  • Holy balls!

  • i have an obsession with small things.. so this is awesome on so many levels for me

  • 2 people are mad they cant wear her sweaters.

  • I have the gloves that coraline wears- they're exactly the same and the lady who knitted them for me but them in the box that coraline got in the movie

  • Amazing!!!!

  • I have an obsession too. When i see,i imagine that everything is small, even people. When i see small stuff,i have the feeling that i have to protect it.

  • That's amazing skill, and to be the only person to do so!? Incredible!

  • Absolutely stunning. Remarkable, extraordinary miniaturism. --Lori Kagan-Moore, Director and Curator, The Great American Dollhouse Museum

  • Yay!

  • Is Althea wearing one of Alice Starmore's Katherine Howard Tudor Rose patterns ?

  • Holy Hannah, Lady! Those are FABULOUS ! ! !

  • you never get to imagine how complex things on movies are done

  • I have the same obsession with small things. :D This lady is awesome.

  • My mother crocheted garments 1"- 1'

there are miniatures organizations all over the world so maybe you will find a kindred soul out there.

She also wove furniture out of dental floss! :)

  • Very well designed and finished -in miniature!

  • Hi, I make knitting miniature too. I make outfits for 2" baby dolls for dolls house.

  • I tell people the socks I knit are like knitting dental floss on tooth picks. My tooth picks are logs compared to her needles.

  • I sometimes knit scarfs with toothpicks but that is it and there not very good but yours are great!

  • Whoever said Non-CGI sucks needs to see this movie.

  • Coll work

  • WOW!! That is amazing, and your sweaters were fabulous in Coraline!

  • that is the sh*t!!!!!!!

  • I make miniature items too(:

Check my channel out about them;)

  • What are you working on now? Where do you find your tiny needles? I would love to hear more about your projects.

  • lol Coraline's size XXXS

  • WOW! that's real talent!

  • so awesome!

  • oO cat fight...

  • Amazing!

  • she needs to marry that guy that weaves tiny rugs

    lol

  • Holy Cow - that's AMAZING!! Beautiful work!

  • This lady could be a neonatal surgeon.

  • This is delightful! I love it

  • thats amazing

  • 6 weeks to 6 months?!

No wonder this movie took so long to come out

  • HA, that would have taken me 6 YEARS to make lol.

  • Wow that's crazy! I could never do something that tiny. But Coraline was an amazing movie!

  • That is CrAzy. Thats all i can say.

  • How cool is that...? Do you use surgeons loops to look at your work while you are knitting these miniatures?

  • This brings tears to my eyes. CORALINE RULES!!!!

  • what a talent!

  • I was impressed by her amazing talent, being able to design something that intricate and beautifu, but.....I not impressed by her "ego" just do a little google before you talk. One does not make a good impression by the exclusion of other artists...just apprears weak, and lacks credibliity.

  • i tried knitting something that small... my eyeballs nearly popped out... geez. and i'm not even half way done yet. it's been 3 months since i last saw my never-going-to-finish project XD

  • Um. I'm blown away. That's AMAZING.

  • Wow! I'm a knitter and I can't imagine being able to make something that detailed that small!

  • I'm not easily impressed, but this shit was pretty tight.

  • GS CLASS OF '82 chyeaaa.

  • George School Class of 82' ftw

  • She is not the only one. There are people who do this kind of knitting and crochet, but they are not paid by studios to do their craft. Not faulting her, but just saying, she's not the only one.

  • I tried to sew Barbie doll size clothing ONCE and I found it very difficult. That said, this work totally amazes me. The sweater is incredible and the GLOVES!...

    **faint** - I'm speechless.

Rock on knitter lady!! You're great. :)

  • she needs to be in the records or somthing! AT LEAST a gold medal!

  • OMG!! Thats amazing!!!! How the hell does she have the patience?!

  • haha size xxxs! lol more like xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxs.

  • OOOOOOOOOOOOH MMMMMYYYYYYYYYYY GOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!! did u see the whales and dophins on one of her sweaters? do does she do that?!?!?!?!?

  • haha yeah i saw that too and i was like: whattttttt?????? lol

  • wow..................shes amazingzing!!!!!!!

  • This looks just as tedious as the lady that does the hair. I have no where near enough patience to do anything even close to this. I would go insane.

  • WOAH. EPIC.

  • 8O can't close mouth, eyes wide in astonishment

  • I am sooo excited about this film! I adore that everything has been done, well, properly.

  • I just started learning how to knit and those miniature sweaters knit by hand just blow my mind. I can't imagine knitting with tiny needles. Makes me want to go see this film straight away!

  • That was incredible. Would love to have her as a guest on Knitting Daily TV on PBS.

  • Phenomenal!

  • wow...i just learned how to knit but i'll never get that good...wow

  • mad props. I wonder if the little sweaters have tiny tags with her name on it. that would be cute!

  • That is exquisite.

  • That is insane and talented, I applaud Althea for this :)

  • Her work is so exquisite! It gives me goosebumps!

  • amazing

  • o...m...g....wow

  • very VERY impressive

  • What's the name of the pretty music playing in the backround? I remember hearing it in the Coraline Teaser trailer, and I REALLY want to have it on my Ipod.

  • It's called "Dreaming".I bought the soundtrack on itunes and I can't stop listening to it.

  • I recently got the soundtrack in my Ipod, and the songs "Dreaming" and "Reunion" are my #1 favorites!

  • OMG thats so small!!!!!!!

  • Wow. I want those fine motor skills.

  • That is absolutely amazing! I dont even have the words to express how I feel. WOW!

  • Unbelievable. Well, not unbelievable but really impressive. Wow.

  • That is AWESOME.

  • How does she find needles that small??
