Thanks for the info. I have sailed with you guys back in 2009 on a southcoast 22 "solid gone." I am looking into filming some of my adventures such as Suwannee river trips and kayaking trips.
@manisi134 I remember the boat, green hull. Some of the compact water resistant still or video cameras are starting to look pretty good. Hard to get good video from a kayak while worrying about dropping the cam in the drink.
@manisi134 Thanks, camera is Fuji HS10. It's pretty good for still photography, as far as super zooms go, but it's very mediocre for video. The biggest problem is that image stabilisation does not work in video mode so you can't zoom in much without massive shakes. I have to brace it against stuff all the time to get a reasonably steady image.
Wow! I really LOVE these kinds of sailing video's.....I'm not a member of your organization yet---but expect to be very soon. In a couple weeks, I will be the proud new owner of a Potter-15! (I've heard it said--more than once--that the two happiest days of a boat-owners life are the day he/she buys the boat and the day he/she sells it.) Thanks for the great video, btw....I've 'shared' it on FB!!
I expected to be moving to Fla by now , alas i'm stuck up north for what looks like another 2 years. I also sold my starwind so I'm boatless. . I still enjoy the pics and the videos .I can't wait to meet all you guys.
Gorgeous!
