I'm gonna be honest, you salesmen never have a frickin clue what you're talking about when you're selling lifted trucks. You need to know the people that you're selling to. the people that are going to buy this thing want to know what type of lift it is, a couple of specs on the lift, what kind of shocks, and tires are really important too. Research more about what you're selling and you'll sell more of these quicker.

yes the 2007.5 nbs does switch from v8 to v4 uslly if you have a good tail wind or going down hill, good if you have flat h ways and orrible for in town mileage

My dad has an 07 and I belive that 4 of the cylinders do shut down once you hit a consistant cruseing speed such as a Interstate or Highway, I think but dont hold me to it.

If the truck is 07 and newer,with a 5.3L engine then it has the fuel management. Any other chevy engine does not.

@WillowX5: looks like 6'' to me its the more common hight guys go for on these i like 4'' myself getting in and out of a lifted truck on a dailey basis get really old after awhile unless your going deep off roading any more than 4'' lift and 33'' tires is useless and i don't know to many guys that will take there brand new rig rock climbing try to find a big 6'' or 8'' and ask the guy if you can climb in then ask your self if you can live with it and is it what you really need.

@8footpool---your best bet when choosing a rim/tire to stick out further is to look for a rim that has either a zero offset or even a negative offset.

i own a 2007 suburban LT3 (yes there are different trim models of different trim models) and I does indeed switch from V8 to V4/I4 .. Of course with the exaust I do notice the switch and it's a bit lame .
