@tenrazo215 Not sure on the firmware, you should look on their website. Also use the camera to format your card before doing the above. Make sure you have saved everything off first though. If you still get the problem try another card. :/
@tenrazo215 Do you have the latest firmware applied to your GoPro and what make of card do you have? I recommend official Kingston class 6 cards. I did have a Transcend class 6 but I had strange problems like yours. There was a big thing about card compatability. It's annoying.
@tonyppe oh..and btw...did u use Spot metering? or that other mode? [forgot its name]. ive heard choosing between these two modes is quite crucial for certain situations like in Timlapsing...
i dont know the difference between them and what the really do, though..
@eladbari You should read what both modes do to understand them. One mode adjusts contrast for the centre of the frame. the other for the average of the whole frame or something. so, one is better for seeing outside through a window or similar, and the other is for all outside or insdie. You should understand the modes to determine what is best, or simply use trial and error. :)
@tonyppe thanx for explaining, Tony. :] Yes, I didnt get the camera yet, so im asking. But Im just saying its a bit tough to experiment or figure out what everything does on the spot, cause of the lack of a preview\LCD screen. You only realize things when you work on the footage on your computer, and do some post work [like the timelapse]. sometimes it is hard to remember what youve done in each shot, and relate that to a certain final footage result. so the learning curve might be a bit harder
@roshonjones LCD screen is well worth it! I managed to order it before I got the email from GoPro telling people it was out, as I was checking back every day almost for months!
what program did you use, because in my time llapse is squared as you can see in my video: storm scheveningen, there are 2 black rectangles on the side very weird?? Maybe its because i use live movie maker or something. Nice vid BTW
@galluh123 Hi, I'm not sure what you mean? I time lapsed in 5mp which is the resolution of stills on the camera, then I cropped to 1080x1920 which is the resolution of HD. I'm not sure if that answers your question though?
@galluh123 I used Photoshop. Within that you can set it to record your actions. So I recorded opening a photo, cropping adjusting the area and then saving with a decent resolution that took up less space. I then let it do its thing for the other thousands images and this video is the result. Quite a lot of the picture is cropped though!
My wife n I own a ice cream n fast food store. Each week we get 10 gallons of free vegi oil from our 2 deep fat fryers. If I did not b urn in in my car I would need to pay some one to take it away.. Did you notice the clock in the back of the kitchen? This is why I sent this video....
I like your time laps vid, thanks for making n sharing.
Like to repay the favor n share some TL stuff tricks I ahve discovered w/you.
I will try n ermember to attach a void. You m ay wanna consider placing a small clock in the for corner of the foto in the for ground, it makes a great time reference.
What editing software did you use to create the vid n what capture rate is this vid in?
Thanks for the comment, I used photoshop to trim and crop the 5mp photos into 1080p resolution. I used the batch editing feature of photoshop to do this, since there are 6500 photos.
Then I used quicktime pro to make those photos into a 15fps video. Then I dropped the videos into sony vegas to bring everything into one, add some music and text and render as high quality HD 1080p.
Thanks for your video. I use veggy oil in my car also. I have not yet gone down the route of waste oil due to the strict filtration and setting requirements to drain off moisture and fats as these are bad for the engine and components. Instead I use brand new veggy oil or other cooking oil.
@tenrazo215 No prob. One other thing, if you google for "gopro forum" there is a huge resource of info in that community. :)

OK, at 1:02, the cat going out and then running back when its owners arrive is so good! Nice job.

@eladbari buy the add on viewfinder. I got it and it helps tremendously to know what's going on inside your camera
