You've picked some solid tracks. There are a couple games that might cause you to reconsider some of these listings, though, depending on your tastes. Parasol Stars has a couple killer tracks on it (not to mention a music test mode), and the final stage track from Magical Chase is just fantastic.
the arcade version of the splatterhouse song was even better i think. everyone who sees this and hasn't heard that version should type it in and hit search right now.
I'm curious. Have you played Devil's Crush? Some of the music in this game is on par with what you've got listed as your favorites. its also (imo) the best pinball game in existance even today.
Dude, dungeon explorer owns all.

1:34 The library level? The one where books and chairs were flying at your from everywhere.
3:20 FLAME THROWERS!!!
Good track for blazing lazers, but I always loved Stage 2's music.
6:14 Walking into a house to talk to someone....
Gotta try and get Soldier blade sometime, it looks pretty good.

Blazing Lazers is great, but Devil's Crush needs to make this list.

You picked some good games, but there are better songs from those games.
The best TG16 song by far is the final fight with Dirth from Neutopia.
Dungeon Explorer also had better songs like Stonefield.

Isn't no.7 a Soldier Blade track? Level 4 I believe.

I didn't include Turbo CD games on this countdown. I feel you though, great music on the turbo Duo.

you should have included Ys I & II or Lords of Thunder. Great soundtracks!

I'm with you on Lords of Thunder. I think you can get the music from Hudson Soft.
