@free2throw that glaze is called VC20, it is a Val Cushing glaze and can be found in his book containing lots of glazes.

I am in a pottery class, and I am having trouble throwing on the wheel. Mostly with centering and pulling. My teacher says that I have extremely great ideas, but I am have problems getting it out in my work. . .

are those pulled handles for the mugs?

Yes, each handle is pulled from a conical piece of clay. I generally make about thirty of these at a time and pull all of the handles just before I trim the bowls so they sit up for a while before they are attached.

The finished pieces are beautiful. I love, love, love the Lily Vase. The large mugs (chili bowls) are the perfect size for a coffee-nut like me :)

Your glazes are awesome. I'm still having problems making glaze. I'm firing at ^6 and the colors seem blahh to me, but I'm not going to give up.

I think that you fire in an electric kiln? Oxidation firing. There are some really great ox. ^6 glazes out there. Putting one glaze over another can produce some nice results, but watch the thickness. Also spraying oxides over your glazes can give color and movement. You can also try blending glazes using a triaxial blend and you may come up with some great new glaze.
