I just looked and there was a hundred 1000 dollar reward for the assassination strange FBI and CIA were apparently involved were the funds from a from that women or was it entrapment!
I agree on that one. But those cartoons on the Prophet Mohammed were not only a cheap, senseless agression: only the "lumpen" would laugh at such thing.
However, there was a large part of the Swedish population against the cartoons and most newspapers refused to publish the material.
As an example of Swedish solidarity, I would like to mention that many thousands Bosnian muslims were received as refugees while no Serbs were allowed into the country. The argumentation given by the government was that the muslims were the victims while the Serbian orthodox were the perpetrarors.
Freedom of speech means just that and whether or not some sensitive person or group is offended is their problem. Sweden's refusal of the Serbs was a crime they should really feel guilty for; they let in those that would like to see Sweden turned into a non Western dimmi land, and refused their own cousins. That was really a low point for Sweden but many Swedes would have had it otherwise but were overruled by the suicidal left that has ruined Sweden to the best of their ability.
Well, you better watch up for your butt if you have the (i) ignorance, (ii) lack of sensitivity and (iii) stupidity to harm the beliefs, deep feelings, sensibility and faith of nearly 2 billion muslims.
FREEDOM OF SPEECH has both MORAL and LEGAL limitations. You should do your homework, boy!!
Finally, in Sweden, "we" (the government supported by the people) gave refuge to the Bosnian muslims, unarmed civilians who were the victims of serbian racism.
You cant 'do harm' to feeling or beliefs or sensibility unless you criminalize speech. Serbs were the victims of genocide! you Stockholm syndrome Swedes are only brave when supporting those that hate you, and have turned your country's cities into crime infested hell hole, complete with NO-GO zones. Serbs are your brothers, you think Bosnians would have opened their doors for you??
I've got enough muscle guns and knives for would be attackers ( we still fight back where Im from, child : )
oh please.. is that in your "how to defend Stockholm syndrome talking points" pamphlet??
you tell me I need to be worried about attackers, I tell you Im not, I have none but if I did I have ways to deal with them.
Now go take your blonde Swedish hair into a "no go zone" and try not to be harassed or afraid of being attacked by a group of asylum status muslims, lol!
Obaid: I am half italian but I grew up in Sweden. One problem in Sweden is that the population is mostly secular/atheist. Also, they believe that "freedom of speech" is "infinite" if it concerns "others". They dont understand that fredom of speech has limits, that people elsewhere can get very upset if they are put down/morally wounded by rants and drivel such as the cartoons. They have to take responsibility for their actions one way or another.
@clustergarde I don't think its a problem that the population in Sweden is mostly secular or atheist. I think it is a huge advantage for them that they have liberated themselves from the thrall of religion, especially if its Islam, Judaism, or Christianity. Those religions create far more problems than they do good.
I do not agree, friend. If you stop a bit and look and feel around, you will find many, many signs of God. Lack of faith creates many existencial difficulties, some of which are unsolvable to man.

Hello, Obaid. Good points, all of them.
I particularly like the universal one about the difference between true humor, and malice masquerading as "humor".

Message to muslim brothers and sisters
Gabriel made a mistake when he asked muhammad,"iqra, Muhammad", which means read, Muhammad.
Instead he should have asked,"repeat after me, muhammad", as allah knew Muhammad was illetrate and Gabriel was not carrying any papers to read from.
Why then allah sent Gabriel with wrong instructions.
It proves that the story was concocted later.
in book "101myths of the bible", greenber showed biblical stories came from egyptian mythology.
THINK CRITICALLY
