@consumers007 yeah mw2 is a shit example of a game to compare snipers to. mw2 is too fast paced snipers stay hidden and take time to plan their shots, no such thing as quick scope shit. secondly the graphics on Mw2 are shit compared to bad company 2 for instance. BC2 is a better example to model a new sniper elite game for ps3 because the graphics are better enhanced for a sneaking and hiding game. at least in BC2 they use bullet drop, bullet travel time, and temperature, unlike mw2

When I meant gruesome I did not mean gore, but the brutal reality of sniping a man who dies in pain (listen to the kills without any music on). It's just grisly to me how realistic the game is. I agree, in terms of gore it is no MW2 or GoW, but realism has a bigger effect on me than blood and guts.
