  • Henna is from north africa right

  • Is this even possible?

  • My friend has henna but for body art

  • henna hutttttt.ccoommm lol this isn't spam! just wanted you people to know henna hut is a great place because they put all their ingredients right there ALL plants that I come across when looking for other natural hair products (Such as eclipta alba maybe I mispelled that but its for the health of your scalp and in many natural oils for hair) I used their Henna (red) and my mom used the copper brown ..they use clays and indigo to alter the color.

  • i put henna last week

  • BUT IF DYEING UR HAIR, U DON'T WANT TO GET THE HENNAH ON UR FOREHEAD OR ANY WHERE ELSE CUZ IT'LL STAIN THERE, AND WON'T GO AWAY FOR ABOUT 3 MONTHS! LOL ONCE SOME HENNA GOT ON MY EYE N I NVR KNEW, SO I WOKE UP WITH THIS BIG SPOT ON MY EYELID LMAO! I HAD A "BLACK EYE" FOR LIKE 3 MONTHS!

  • Okay I am an arab and I use henna a lot. I use it on special occasions for body art. It's absolutely wonderful. Also, I died my hair. Instead of 2 hours, I apply my henna in the night and sleep until the morning. 2 hours is rubbish. This is a healthy good way to dye ur hair. But I use the real henna not store-bought,

  • my grandma has used this so many times, and her hair is like orangy-red. my mom puts henna on my hands as a design for occasions.

  • 0:36 The Henna Looked More Like Cow Shit

  • How about just dye your hair with normal hair dye instead of henna?

  • @POPstar4u2 because regular hair dye screws up your hair by damaging it.

  • @ladyloraella is there anyway to dye your hair legit blonde with henna?

  • LEAVE IT ALL DAY IF YOU CAN STAND IT the longer it stays on the better the effect 2 hours is rubbish i sleep in it

  • dont just add lemon!add more things since you can, things i add if i have are:

(btw im giving away family secrets that are passed down)

eggs, 7-up or sprite, tea, coffee, mayo, oil, vinegar just about anything you can put in a hair mask

i do not let it sit, for some reason i like it freshly mixed

over years i have been using henna so have my parents and grandparents, i have never had a reaction mixing any of those things together since i mix randomly depending on what i have

  • citrus juice? really?

  • Also Henna was used by Prophets - Peace Be Upon Them -

Henna has lots of benifit more than just coloring the hair !

  • natural henna only dyes hair red tones. If you get henna that dyes your hair black, or blonde. it obviously contains other chemicals.

  • Does it stain your scalp

  • People, come on. Henna is NOT cow poo -.-" Google it, for God's sake!

  • Did you know: "henna" is Japanese and means crazy, pervert or twisted. (True thing.)

  • @MaRaTheMeyvn I think that is Hentai....-_____-

  • @ubergirliz1 They're synonyms; they both mean the same thing.

  • @MaRaTheMeyvn Not really...Hentai-twisted, perverted. Henna-(Lawsonia inermis) is a flowering plant used since antiquity to dye skin, hair, fingernails, leather and wool.

Synonym-Two words that can be interchanged in a context are said to be synonymous relative to that context

  • @ubergirliz1 *facepalm* I meant that Henna is also Japanese and means twisted, pervert and so on, and Hentai means that too. So in Japanese, they're synonyms. Henna just is also this planting flower.

  • @MaRaTheMeyvn No. You mean 'Hentai''. Not Henna.

  • @POPstar4u2 Oh gawd... My comment's already been here for a whole year and go dig it out?

Anyway, in Japanese henna does mean the same thing as hentai. My Japanese teacher told me that because in my country Henna is a rather common female name. If you don't believe me, go check a dictionary. It's true.

  • she said plastic like 8 times

  • @tecnochicks yes it is. the right stuff is. VERY permanent. It binds to the keratin in your hair.

  • someone please tell me what exactly is henna?

  • @zeldagirl71 Henna or Hina is a flowering plant, Lawsonia inermis, used since antiquity to dye skin, hair, fingernails, leather, and wool.

  • @wackedout991 oh ok thx

  • @3niR i didn't say henna is stupid, did you read what i said properly?, the word permanent is stupid cuz henna is not permanent duhhh !!

  • @Kisssekhtak but wat if its permanent on your hair

  • did she say permenant hair dye? how stupid lol.

  • its not permanent

  • Omg, they don't give enough information at all!

    READ THIS!!

You have to use plastic because, if you use any kind of metal, the henna could turn your hair green!!

And you can also get brown or black henna!

    It's not only in red.

But you can never make your hair a lighter color then your own with henna.

And henna is actually very good for your hair! :)

  • @LadyLoraella omg, thanks! i want my hair to be black, and i was so bummed out when she said red. u made my day :DDD also, thanks for the advice, no green hair for me :)

  • @ickleducky Aww, you're welcome ^^ Good luck!

  • @LadyLoraella wait! do u know how permanent henna is??? i heard one week from someone, and this lady said it was very permanent.....sorry to ask :(

i want to change up my look, but not permanent, just to esperiment...so i dont want it to be too permanent. thanks, sorry!

  • @ickleducky yeah, I know it's permanent. what's your point exactly?

  • @LadyLoraella dude dont fit over it i mean come on u really think lots of people care about if they give u alot of info on where u can get it or what color u want to me it dont matter

  • @brownsfan86345345 What are you talking about?

  • @LadyLoraella u were getting in on how they dont give alot of info for it

  • @brownsfan86345345

Uhm, yeah, cuz they don't. I mean, if people are going to die their hair with henna, they should know enough about it, right? I'm just trying to help.

  • @LadyLoraella oh ok didnt know what u meant at first sorry

  • @LadyLoraella real henna is just one color and does not react badly to metal. real henna is good for your hair but the henna that reacts badly to metal is bad for you as it has added chemicals,

  • @dangerousdashie Ok, thanks, I didn't know that. But if you want to die your hair brown with henna, by adding coffee of whatever, does it still not react badly to metal? Lush has henna bars, do those react badly to metal? I would just avoid using metal, even if I'd use pure henna, just to be sure.

  • @LadyLoraella I'm not sure if lush is pure henna or compounded.Sometimes its hard to tell because they don't always have to list ingredients. One way to tell is if it comes in different colors although for lush it doesn't really count cuz they use other herbs to change the color. Another way is if the directions say not to use metal. BAQ henna is pure. If ur not sure if the henna is pure its pointless to use since it would be unhealthy for your hair, might as well use chemical dye at that point.

  • @LadyLoraella not sure about lush. the only thing you have to worry about reacting to metal is added metalic salts not coffee or herbs. Body art quality henna is pure henna and does not have metalic salts. If the henna says not to use it in metal bowls, then it has metalic salts. If your not sure its pure theres no point in using it as it will damage your hair and be perminant until growing out, at that point you might as well use chemical dye.

  • Why is she dying her hair outside?!

  • is it only in red?

  • @lipglosslover98 because henna - it's cow dung, it "comes" in few colours :/
