@PeterFLOYDIAN :) refreshing. the interview was awkward but meaningful and it was very cool of him to divert attention away from himself so much and give airtime to the Indian gentlemen
I used to make the mistake to judge the man by his 'difficult' persona, but he does give a lot attention to the Indian subject. And being difficult is not necessarily a crime.
I like the fact that he diverted away the attention to a bigger cause, like saying: "Hey, movies are good, but this is more important." (almost literally)
the world should be very proud and lucky to have the american indian natives culture past and present amounst us their knowledge and wisdom of mother earth is the means and an end to healing damage a full understanding to natural nature and farming without harming all that nature gives ,this mother earth respect is a long art in time teachings from all past history without such knowledge mother earth would not have its true friends the native american indians may god bless them all peace
This is a great example of how Actor's and Actress's and television programming provided the public with various intelligent topics, discussions and enlightening conversations that made the public aware of what the hell was really going on.
Even if you had this type of programming today it couldn't capture the audience with the level of intelligence in America that consideres Jersey Shore, the Housewives of Orange County and the Biggest Loser to be stimulating and cerebral viewing.
@IngloriusBastard11 Your are correct but we would not need the entertainers to educate us if the press were doing what the American people are told they are doing but are not doing. The press and media have been misinforming and deceiving the American people for over two hundred years. This interview took place almost 40 years ago and look what we have become. A nation of non-compassionate individuals who have lost their ability to collectively and legally respond to what the right wing fanatics have done to this nation as a whole.
We continue to listen to politicians, and corporate America, regurgitate the same rhetoric and deceptive bullshit that will drive this nation into becoming a Third World country that has lost its compassion for our fellow man and thrives on BS.
Gulley, I'm very grateful I found this gem of an interview. I don't want to be too dramatic but having thought on it, I really do think it is the best interview I've ever come across. Thank you for taking the time and making the effort to share it with us. :) Songs
Funny to imagine David Letterman giving so much time for so serious and 'boring' issue of Indians rights without stupid interruptions just for making the show 'alive'. I think Dick Cavett deserves a lot of credit for giving Marlon Brando talk openly without interruptions, despite letting the show being kinda tiresome. This is most valuable one hour in history of Commercial TV in my opinion.
Being Australian I hadn't seen this Dick Cavett guy interview before, & even though it wasn't the best interview, I will give him credit for allowing/inviting Marlon and Indian friends on to talk about 'unpopular' topics. Even though they all appeared out of their comfort zone, I think both Marlon & Dick showed honour and respect to each other while acknowledging their different preferences for what they wanted to talk about. *Marlon Brando* Big respect & affection for him after seeing this
Of course Marlon is correct about the tribal situation but there are far more worser things in the world happening than tribes being herassed by americans...
the oil spill on a native reservation in alberta just shows that money is STILL all that is important to the people in power and control. money matters more than people, animals, wild life, plants, water and air
Wasichu-plain and simple. Cultural history-the white man lives for today without consideration for his family, future generations...only focused on fat, fat and more fat. Gorging himself on everything now. Even now that mindset seems to permeate contemporary generations of non-whites.
@liveecarbme You are forgetting the casinos run by tribes all over the US. Not fighting here . . just discussing. Money drives any nation. Their status is held by wealth or the lack of it. It is the love of it that messes up some. Even some tribes. Be fair please. Songs
I'm sad to see people hate on Cavett. He's a good man, certainly, a little intimidated, but you can tell he's wanting to do good and he's a genuine nice guy, if a little skittish. Him and Brando make a cute duo.
Washington isn't where it should get done....because for a start it's origionally their land...i mean ffs both the videos "Dick" showed on this shows WESTERN cultivation....WESTERN ways of making money....ffs give them back their land and let them live their lives to their culture!! I'm 25, male, white, it's 2011 and i live in England UK....ffs if i even know this then this world has serious issues, or people who just are not interested!! Just like Brando says in part 2/3 !! :s
This interview got a lot better towards the end. Dick Cavett was better at being a serious host than a silly, goofy one. Switch from entertainment fluff to meaningful stuff.
@ingaman Yes, I think it was Russell Means who told Native Canadians to stop expecting the Canadian government to solve their problems while at the same time blaming the Canadian government for those problems. Canada's treaty settlements will take a 1000 years but Chief's are too hung up on their own power and control band money. Native Americans believed when the Eagle spacecraft landed on the moon it fulfilled Black Oak's prophecy as to when the people would heal themselves.
What a moment at 1.40. Dick Cavett took me by surprise there. With the commercial pressure on him to stick to the line, that was a brave spur-of-the-moment comment. Wow. One 'of them' taking a stand. Well done Dick.
@starzus Youre an imbecile; at the very most, there were believed to be about 20 million Native Americans when the Europeans came to this continent and the Europeans didnt commit systematic murder like the Nazi's did.
@CurtisHalfHalf Being anti-racist does not make me an "imbecile". Records state 60 million Indians were systematically slaughtered.
But lets take your figure plucked from your anus of 20 million.
The systematic slaughter of 20 MILLION Indians doesn't matter to you? Because to your mind, in your 'superior' opinion the way they were killed doesnt count?
While you're digging that hole for yourself, why don't you get in.
@starzus ' Records state...' ?? I suggest you thoroughly read the subject you want to shout to the sky about..there's alot of written history thats incorrect but you need to know it anyway. The Europeans murdered many American Indians, but no, they didnt do what the Nazi's did; literally building death factories for killing people.
A terrible injustice was done to the Indians, Im not defending the Europeans at all but you cant pull facts out of thin air.
@CurtisHalfHalf YES, 'records' state. You've just typed a lot to AGREE with me!. The only discrepency being that, "OUT OF THE AIR", you've decided that there are NO records, even though there's no shortage.
" CoIntelPro- What you should know " is a video on my channel. You feature in it a lot.
Look at the view count of each of the parts. See how it declines, and the only parts that actually treat the issue about the American Indians are the last two parts. That's exactly what Brando was talking about when he was talking about wasting time with talk about his profession and movies.
It is clear that Dick wanted to talk hollywood and attempt to put Marlon at ease and make funny jokes. He did not get that Marlon wanted to discuss serious matters and explicitly repeated the need to talk about the Indian situation. Once Indian matters were discussed, it was clear how moved Marlon was and how appreciative he was as well. I enjoyed the program and learned and appreciate both Dick and the Indian representatives and Mr. Brando's efforts must be recognized as being necessary.

What a treat to see Marlon Brando speak about what meant so much to him. He appeared to focus on what gets him up in the morning--the plight of the Native American people.
I've admired his acting, but now I will admire him as an activist with humour and intelligence.
Seriously, Brando is the man. Nothing I can really say about him that hasn't been said, but... no offense, when he either gives you "the stare" or smiles in this interview... I get the feeling that he's about to kill someone. Something about his look reminds me of Jack Nicholson's look or appereance as seen in The Shining.
wow i never knew that brando was so F*&^(*& nuts. F&^%()) growing patunias the wild indians are doing much better making wiskey, selling cigeretts and letting stupid americans gamble on their land. no wonder why they told him to get the F&^%$ outta here with those backward ideas farming, good thing the indians were smarter than that.
one should not forget that also the indians did not "own" america -- the world, the land belongs to all humans, i think it is a little dim to run around and shout "white robbed the indians of their land" - if you argue this way, you willl see that the whole earth is full of robbed land, -- like the maori were polynesian conquerors long time ago
@MoveOverCasanova we was caretakers and stewards of the animals..we never ever said we OWN land ..ha! we dont have a word in our languages pertaining to '' owning land or buying o selling it''....we didnot ravage the land fighting n murdering like in westerns..marlon said it best '' whites want to pretend like they werent murderous monsters o the real savages..and the majority of people know only what they have been taught abt us indians.instead of coming to us with questions thy go to whites
did you also apologize to the grass before you walked on it? btw, that´s what "white" deer hunters tell you too -- "we are the caretakers, we love animals, therefore we shoot ´em" -- no hypocrits please, no matter how white or pink their skin
@MoveOverCasanova actually we even talk with the grass,i dont care what you say, guilty..white deer hunters dont respect the deer they shoot they are murders they shoot deer nowadays bc they cant shoot us red people , blacks anymore...you know by disrecting the deer spirit , without asking his pardon or ''sorry i have kill you, deer,im hungry ''......will give you rheutism....hypocrit will be you for pretending..marlon brando speak the true something other whites should catch up to....
please spare me your cliche talk about the cruel white man who is responsible solely for all the evil in the world, i heard that song too much --- by the way, a buffalo didn´t care wheter the ammo that strikes him dead came from a wooden bow or a steel rifle
Go wallow in self pity racist, Go phone Al Sharpton, The Red Indian used to raid and kill each other and the Black man has shown since that they are no strangers to violence
@LIVERLADD lol..only how you whites make of it..if we raided and killed so much as your people say why on our country we strecthed from canada to very bottom tip of south america only after the men dressed with disease , greed, and genocide came did we experience such despair..the whiteman has killed the earth now he draws the other nations into his high treason against the '' GREAT LAW'' of Creator n for this his nation is going2 experience the greatest grief of all NATIONS' pains n suffering
@LIVERLADD one thing u people say is that the truth hurts..i hate no one just telling u how we have been treated by yur nation...how does that..have anything to do with hurting someone? is it bc its true ..what u want us to do? tell a lie!
lol Dick's very awkward but seems like a terrific person and is a terrific interviewer. He gets the job done. Actually talks about true issues. (Awkward and stutters, but a terrific interviewer. That's an oxymoron you won't see often.)
Why aren't there shows/interview programs like this anymore on cable? All I see everyday is the nation tuning in to find out how many days Paris has been in jail, or some talentless moron promoting a worthless film.
Everyone robbed everyone of their lands during thousands and thousands of years. The only thing that would be fair is to give everyone equal rights for everyone, so please remove the indian reservoir.
@QuantumProphet No, I dont want to remove oil companies, the tobacco industry and everybody with over a billion dollars, that would not be equal rights.
@SoXfused Like Brando said,Cavett does a a great job at what he does. I think just by having this subject matter on his show proves that he as well as Brando is a great man or just a principled one. The time was hard to get this stuff on the air. This was Cavett's venue and he allowed it. Kudo's to him.
@stevo112066 funny you say that at that time it was hard to get this on the air. But when have you seen a show with a panel like tis discussing matter like this any time recently?
@SoXfused Nah...he was just nervous, as anybody would be. He had a 6+ hour telephone conversation with Marlon Brando to get him to come to the show and part of that phone conversation was about how Brando didn't like talk shows. So yeah, Cavett had a reason to be nervous. But he held his own. He held his own.
This is a wonderful interview - thank you so much for posting this series, gulleyjimson. Marlon Brando was one of the most beautiful and intelligent people ever to walk this Earth, not to mention the greatest actor the American Cinema has ever seen. I highly recommend his autobiography "Brando: Songs My Mother Taught Me", co-written with Robert Lindsey. It will make you cry it's so good.
Hi. Yes, the autobiography is real. He had help writing it (Robert Lindsey), but had absolute final say in everything in it. If you love Brando like I do, I think you will really enjoy it. ; )
yes but the Israrlies were devinly helped they were promised that land The European Settlers and the now US Government killed, raped, and stole from the Indigenouse people of this continent, they don't feel shame but they do try to sugar coat all the wrongs or even try to switch roles to the "victims."
Thanks for posting this. This interview proves, even if in a small way, that Brando wasn't just one of the greatest screen actors ever, but a great man too, which is often the case with great artists
no is not for nothing ,,this is for future children ,,u saw this ... iam indian ,,,i dirent even know about this ,,,n iam in autralia ,,,sorry u wrong mate ,,take care
Zionist Jews are waging global genocide on non-Jews around the world, all at the same time.
Jew banker Rothschild took over the Bank of England by starting a fake small battle and using the mass media to report a false outcome of the "battle." He lied through the mass media. Lying is praised by Yahwey, lying is a Talmudic act of a "good" Jew - they play opposites. Genocide is a Jews' Talmudic duty, it brings a "kingdom" as promised by doing criminal acts in a cabal. WW2 was Jew bankers acts..
The Jews formed the FBI by using Hoover as their frontman. He posed as the head but in the office he called a Jew his "Pop." His fatherfigure and lover was a Jew named Howard Nathan. Hoover was the slave puppet of these Zionist Jews who ran Anglo ("Goyim") out of Congress so that Jews could take over. Jews now control half of Congress and use it to rob American taxpayers and finance wars of genocide (Armageddon) around the world for Israel's goal of making all others slaves of Israel.

Jews formed the FBI by bribing Congresspersons. The goal of the Jews was to form the FBI so they could spy on all Americans and takeover the US government while intimidating the citizens and steal intellectual property. Convicted SPY Anthony Pellicano worked for Hollywood Jews who wiretapped people to steal intellectual property. Brando's actions in "The Godfather" where the actions of a Zionist Jew of Hollywood, leaving fish heads on cars to frighten others. The FBI worked for Pellicano to spy.
Brando and Obama are false messiahs who are slaves of the Zionist Jew bankers. These Jew bankers are genocidal mad men. They are waging wars around the world profiting from weapons' sales & stolen natural resources. Here Brando is silent about what his criminal Jew masters were then doing, committing genocide on the Arab neighbors of Israel. Brando is part Jew.
Jews took over Russia by slaughtering the Anglo middle class, did the same in WW2 Germany& are here in the USA to repeat it.

The Torah, KJV Bible and the Quran were all books written by Jews for Jews. It's all Zionist literature designed specifically to put all money into the control of Jew bankers. These Jew bankers have actors mock us in films. Disney radio today played a song about Boaz & Jachin aka the Pillars of King Solomon's Temple. Solomon stands for doing evil for profit, 666, black magic (Disney Magic), killing for money. Jew banker Goldman Sachs was the biggest WW2 profiteer. Zionist Jews usurped the USA.

Actors like Brando and James Dean are not immortal. The earth will eventually be sucked into the sun and we will all be reduced to gas and blown out in solar winds, spread across the solar system.
Brando et al are nothing but Zionist tools designed to mesmerize the masses and keep the masses PASSIVE. Zionists ask that you SHALL NOT WANT, meanwhile Zionists took most of Brando's profits and used it the money to finance Irgun terrorists who massacre Palestinians then and now. Bibles mislead.
Dude should've read some Schopenhauer, lmao . Why does he think people act or create any type of entertainment in the first place? So they can attempt to create something more beautiful and pure than what the material coil confines us to. They try to transcend the traipse of mortality instead of wallowing in their own shit like he is doing here. Guess thats why he never was larger than life like Bogart or Dean.
How naive you are. You essentially say that you believe people create entertainment to avoid "wallowing in their own shit" aka reality? As stupid as that is, it is also incorrect. If you think 90 percent of people who make entertainment do so to "attempt to create something more beautiful", and not to get a fat pay check and act stupid with it, then you're kidding yourself. Brando was the last of a dying breed; a breed which surpasses James Dean.
Sorry to piss in your Wheaties bro, but it takes alot more than a love affair with the green messiah and the plebs to embody eternity. Just ask Plato, Jesus, Buddha, Kant, Spinoza, Nietzsche, Shakespeare, Beethoven, Mozart, etc, etc. Like you, Brando wouldn't know because it appears he had no conception of it's true quintessence. Go check out Brando's screentest for Rebel w/o a Cause here on youtube and tell me Brando played Stark better than Dean, Rofl.
You're attempting to sound intelligent as you throw out quotations, yet none of it has anything to do with your prior statement nor my response. You don't even make sense. Beyond that, you contradict your earlier argument. If that weren't enough, your listing of "go asks" is just as contradicting. Fail.
Lmao you fail at being a weakass troll and getting owned within 1 reply son. H/o I gotta Lmao again. Try that weakass pussywhip recovery shit on your sister bro, and make sure you borrow one of her tampons so you don't leave a mess while you're at it. Until then have fun now being my housebitch for eternity.
HAHA, someone who says BRO as frequently as you do automatically has zero room to insult. You showcase your own ignorance by not acknowledging anything i have said, but instead just ramble about my sister (that doesn't exist) and her tampons, etc, etc. Perhaps if you didn't contradict your own argument, you'd be taken a little more seriously. Unfortunately for you, that is not what took place. This is because you're too stupid to argue without forgetting your own sentiments. LMAOLMAOLMAO!
In doing what he did, displaying unbridled tormented existential angst, no one could, or has touched Dean in all of cinema.
Acting is the expression of a neurotic impulse. It's a bum's life. The principal benefit acting has afforded me is the money to pay for my psychoanalysis. - Marlon Brando
"The only greatness for man is immortality." - James Dean
I disagree with Dean's statement that man's only greatness is immortality.
Right living is a higher goal as in right living one is not harming others, one is not acting out out of jealousy & envy of what others' have merited or what others have learned. One is not predatory, in living right. One is not a thief, a liar, a tool, a dupe. One is not greedy nor selfish. These attributes allow for peace.
The predatory Zionists leaders ask us all to desire an immortality that DOES NOT EXIST.
Allthough I agree on certain things your saying I have to correct you on one thing.Brando is was and will always be larger than life, more so than Dean and CERTAINLY more than Bogart
Brando is in the same category as John Lennon, church on Sunday and self-help books. They are big because they are catchy and all the plebs can relate/comprehend, but an exceeding ebb of irrigation is needed to quench the stems of immortality.
Ex: watch?v=KScBmX1d-YU
Imagine what Bogart would've done with that
Brando had his place; in films like Streetcar. The guy was pure intensity and charismatic and appropriately showcased both beautifully.
Thank you for posting this. I was born in 1981, and I am always grateful for the opportunity to view cultural/historical videographic primary material such as this.
I just read on wikipedia that after the taping of this interview, Brando and Cavett (interviewer) went for a stroll down on the streets of New York where Brando was heckled by a paparazzi. The confrontation escalated and resulted in Marlon punching the photographer in the face, breaking his jaw. He later paid 40,000 out of court restitution... Jeez... Brando's walkin to the same beat that he talks.
Considering Brando did very little interviews comparisons can be made......Cavett Respected Brando far more than Larry King did. With King his age should never have come into play which I feel it did. had Cavett interviewed Brando at the age King did it would have shown Brando's Genius one last time before his death. Instead it showed king's inadequacy as an interviewee. Cavett had respect and grace in his interview style which Marlon respected. Marlon Brando The Man Himself........
@goanyways brando was an actor and a great one. He could make you beleive anything regardless what he felt or thought personally. He was also strange and liked to mess with people's minds.
The Isrealis robbed the Palestinians off their land. The immigrants from all over the world butchered the indians by the million and did not even felt ashamed by that. The natives land is now possessed by the likes of Briney 'Spears and Paris Hilton - what an evolution!
Dont forget the Israelis/Jews have no other land and Jordan has 80% Palestinians while has round about 80% of the land of the 1920 existing english mandated territory Palestine and Jordan is bigger than Israel including the"Palestine" territorys. This should be no excuse for Israels disbehavior, but the situation of the Palestinians is far away from the native North Americans!!!
Yeah, but white Americans were not before on the same Land, and they didn't live there all the Time.
Israelis live in Palestina from the very beginning. And the Homecoming of the Jews from Europe happens for a reason. The Holocaust.
There was no Holocaust against Whites, so they have to flee to America.
I don't want to defend the Crimes against the palestinian People by the Israli Forces, but you should never defend Palestinian Bombs and Islamic Radicalism either. (sorry my English)
@Bigmac79 You give me the usual Israelin twisting of words and facts. The more complex the sentences get the more I know that something is going wrong. The truth always is very simple.
So never argue with an Israelil - the think they are right anyway, no matter what you are saying.
@Bigmac79 ... I know that It won't-be "Politically-Correct" to point This out , but there were Caucasians living on the North American Continent for over 10,000 Years before the Mongols arrived in (approximately) 13,000 B.C.
@thePharoah90086 - LOL! People always need to take shots at the Jews. If people want to talk about a persectured people, what the blacks and indians experience throughout their history is nothing compared to what the Jews faced throughout theirs. If they want the right to live in their own nation, by all means, they should be allowed to. I don't give a damn what the Muslims have to say about it.
@gillan5 O like you can compare what has happen to Palestinians and Israel, really fuck off, like you know about our own corporation by the Chiefs themselves. Like you even know.
Just finished all 6 parts. Interesting to see Brando take control of the show and say whatever he likes. Doesn't even want to talk about movies (LOL!), Brando probably wanted DC to protest a bit, but he didn't. Seat-of-his-pants, almost acting like "Dick's nightmare guest". Already nervous DC was thrown a bit. Gotta love Cavett, tho'. You can see Depp doing a version of the same type of mysterious/elusive/Method in interviews. Thanks for posting!
I wish Cavett just got on to the issues that Brando wanted to focus on much, much earlier in the piece -- namely those that related to the American Indians. He wasted a lot of time trying to get blood out of a stone on all the acting stuff.
I think Cavett did the best he could. As stated earlier in the interview, most of the people watching are intrested more in the entertainment value of Brando himself than the issues he's bringing forth. By pushing the acting questions, Cavett is being more diplomatic towards those viewers and the supervisors of the show, some of which most likely were opposed to the political side of the interview. Genius performance by both Brando and Cavett.
Yup. I get that. Commercial sponsors are the great determiners of content on TV shows. That's probly the pressure that Cavett was responding to. If you watch other interviews with Brando, he really downgraded acting and movies as being anything of significance. He was pretty consistent in that regard.
That's because, to Brando's point earlier, the acting stuff and all that other crap is what people want, and Cavett is after all, going for ratings.''It's a business"...
Cavett wasn't ONLY going for ratings. He was/is passionate about the issues presented here. Brando's point was about the mitigation of the two motivations--a compliment for Cavett.
...The example from the office. Marlon shows clearly that he is a true intellect. Though the Indian rights were much more important to him than acting or films - he was fully (socially) aware of Dick Cavettes show and audience. He very nicely analyzed Dicks position as a host - and freed up time for talking about Indians.
Brando did this before it became a "trend". He was not fake, was very much living in the real world, and very bold. Like when he nearly humiliated John Wayne - and his views.
At more of the beginning of this interview, you see a Brando that it is hard to place. Looking quite like many "bohemians" today, almost a hippie. Like some idealist that lacks in the "reality" department, and lives far from the real world.
But this turned out not at all correct. Like ReeseMac said so well, he used quite some time on his answers, but that is because he uses a lot of time to think things through. Marlon blew us away when he talked about acting, and used a real life example...
Thank you SO much for posting this interview. It is very interesting to see how nervous the audience is with a serious show, when they are so used to being entertained. Brando was not only one of the finest actors ever captured on film, but he was a true humanist!
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
That must have been one of the most difficult and awkward interviews of all time. Brando should understand that it is quid pro quo. You do your bit to entertain the audience and give them what they want and in return you get your slot to tout whatever you feel is important to you. I think he was just being a jerk frankly.
its wierd how he admits and appologizes for not being more articulate during the interview, yet he seems VERY articulate in his movies from the 50s. how can you be articulate in the movies but not in real life? O.o
I think he's being tongue & cheek. Earlier Brando broke down how Cavette might possibly have concerns about the interview being entertaining and one of the concerns were whether or not Brando would be articulate. He was sort of psychoanalizing Cavette at that time of the interview. Brando was articulate. He just took alot of time to think before he spoke. Brando was always an interesting person to watch. Very free. Thats part of why he was so great as an actor.
Marlon Brando is a real human being. Most of his contemporaries simply neglected the social issues of their time, and only indulged in wealth and luxury. But Brando was way sensitive to those matters.
marlon brando would be tearing into that trout.

I accidentally stumbled upon this, but enjoyed it as if it were a long awaited 'premier'.
And I now remember 'Neil Young's words':
"And maybe Marlon Brando will be there by the fire;
We'll sit and talk of Hollywood and the good things there for hire;
And the Astrodome and the first tepee;
Marlon Brando, Pocahontas and me."
Thank you Marlon Brando, Thank you Neil Young.

Wasichu-plain and simple. Cultural history-the white man lives for today without consideration for his family, future generations...only focused on fat, fat and more fat. Gorging himself on everything now. Even now that mindset seems to permeate contemporary generations of non-whites.
Wasichu=Fat-taker.

I'm sad to see people hate on Cavett. He's a good man, certainly, a little intimidated, but you can tell he's wanting to do good and he's a genuine nice guy, if a little skittish. Him and Brando make a cute duo.

ingaman 1 year ago
@ingaman Yes, I think it was Russell Means who told Native Canadians to stop expecting the Canadian government to solve their problems while at the same time blaming the Canadian government for those problems. Canada's treaty settlements will take a 1000 years but Chief's are too hung up on their own power and control band money. Native Americans believed when the Eagle spacecraft landed on the moon it fulfilled Black Oak's prophecy as to when the people would heal themselves.

60 MILLION Red Indian native Americans slaughtered.
That is a holocaust on Americas OWN doorstep 10 TIMES BIGGER than the Jewish holocaust - yet nobody hears about it
& Hollywood still hushes it up.
Wonder why?
starzus 1 year ago 42
@starzus Youre an imbecile; at the very most, there were believed to be about 20 million Native Americans when the Europeans came to this continent and the Europeans didnt commit systematic murder like the Nazi's did.
CurtisHalfHalf 1 year ago
@CurtisHalfHalf Being anti-racist does not make me an "imbecile". Records state 60 million Indians were systematically slaughtered.
But lets take your figure plucked from your anus of 20 million.
The systematic slaughter of 20 MILLION Indians doesn't matter to you? Because to your mind, in your 'superior' opinion the way they were killed doesnt count?
While you're digging that hole for yourself, why don't you get in.
starzus 1 year ago
@starzus ' Records state...' ?? I suggest you thoroughly read the subject you want to shout to the sky about..there's alot of written history thats incorrect but you need to know it anyway. The Europeans murdered many American Indians, but no, they didnt do what the Nazi's did; literally building death factories for killing people.
A terrible injustice was done to the Indians, Im not defending the Europeans at all but you cant pull facts out of thin air.
CurtisHalfHalf 1 year ago
@CurtisHalfHalf YES, 'records' state. You've just typed a lot to AGREE with me!. The only discrepency being that, "OUT OF THE AIR", you've decided that there are NO records, even though there's no shortage.

Guess thats why he never was larger than life like Bogart or Dean.
mrbeefy1515 2 years ago

Acting is the expression of a neurotic impulse. It's a bum's life. The principal benefit acting has afforded me is the money to pay for my psychoanalysis. - Marlon Brando

beefy,
I disagree with Dean's statement that man's only greatness is immortality.

With the economoc crisis this country is facing...maybe the Indian casinos can float the government a loan.

...The example from the office.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
That must have been one of the most difficult and awkward interviews of all time.

redscorpio84 2 years ago
