Actually my favourite song is We Used To Vacation. I don't think, that there's better song than that. But they little bit changed. They're not what they used to be. I am not their fan for many years like somebody, I am their fan just for a 4 months, but I have listened almost all their song already. And yeah, they changed. I don't know if it is worst now or better, but they are still our Cold War Kids :)
great band, if you like these guys, you might like our electro sound. hope you can take a minute to check out here, watch our EP preview video. thanks all.
This is the only song from their new album even slightly reminiscent of the CWK I know and love. It's that horrible fucking manager they have. He'll ruin them.
CWK, we love you for your different sound. We love you for your whining, warbling vocals. Mine is Yours blends into every other half-hearted, muted alt rock ballad on the radio. Don't become that. You're better than that.
I want more We Used to Vacation, more Heavy Boots, more Dreams Old Men Dream. Not this mediocre drivel.
This is actually my first time hearing of this band and I must say I'm intrigue. I want to check out this album as well as the past two, in order to see what they have to give my iPod touch and of course ears.
This is not at all meant to be a negative observation, but does anyone else get a New Found Glory vibe from the chorus? It´s like Cold War Kids doing pop punk, and it´s not a bad combo surprisingly hahaha
@potlox Hey, we can agree to disagree. All Im saying is that the vocal melody and the drum beat have a pop punk vibe. If Jordan Pundik were singing, the chorus would sound a lot like New Found Glory. Any pop punk fans care to back me up on this one? haha
@manray84 agreed on the NFG sound, but then again the kid has such distinct vocals that you could say that about almost anything he'd sing to that sounded like pop rock. The instrumentals are definitely gritter than anything I've ever heard of theirs.
@babsishere83 this is a statement i can accept. Its very unique, thats maybe why people hear so many different things in it. I only hear them and greatness

oh man saw these guys last night in vouge in Van fucking unreal. Probably my fav song they played.
clockquartz 1 year ago
@clockquartz - I was 3rd row. Had been waiting for this track the whole night. The whole crowd lost it on the chorus.
The bassist running around and kicking/headbutting everyone else was kind of distracting, but otherwise a great show.

Is it just me? Or does it sound like Geto Boys-Damn it feels good to be a gangster melody in there at 1:37 in this song? Still, great song.

10 bucks says this ends up on the radio in a month or two. not saying its not good, just that their sound is much more appealing now.

@curlyQrobin Actually, Fullerton and Whittier raised them. Long Beach just houses them now and takes all the credit.

1) Hold your breath.
2) Copy all of these steps.
3) Go to two other video.
4) Paste it in the comments.
If you can do all of this without breathing you're a good pot smoker

The only thing that matters is that this is still DEFINITELY CWK, you really couldn't mistake it for anyone else. Can't wait for January.

I dont care what anybody says... They're just as good as they were when they released Up in rags

this is really great although I could do without the Kings of Leon sound at the 1:40 mark.
