Too much discord throughout, so the composition wasn't thought-out enough, or one or both kept hitting wrong keys, most noticeable on the low/background notes. Or a piano was out of tune?

Too bad, because it's an otherwise dynamic and interesting arrangement. Certainly way better than most of us could ever do, but in the future adjustments should be made for such performances. Thanks for sharing regardless.

This is good, and I like the arrangement. But it just seems too messy and there wasn't enough dynamics. The intense parts would be more intense if the pianissimo parts were softer or more delicate. Just kind of sounded like a lot of bashing on the keys to me.

Splendid! You two are fantastic musicians! Love the syncopations at the beginning of the theme, and the way you accommodate ostinati from both "Duel of the Fates" and "Battle of the Heroes", sometimes simultaneously! And the seguing from the Prequel death march to what I think is the music for when Luke goes nuts dueling against Vader in ROTJ for a tiny moment right around 3:20. A real treat for someone with an obsessive familiarity with these scores!

@cybykillers After playing through some of their duo repertoire, I must say that Greg's parts are often VERY COMPLICATED and it goes under the radar (you could never tell in Blue Danube Fantasy that he has some AWFUL passages). Liz's parts also sound very virtuosic (I usually play her part and it's actually really hard as well). Both of their parts are usually complicated and difficult, she's just usually primo and it's more in the forefront. Not trying to make you feel bad though. HAHA

But I do have a question.. Whats the use in jumping and all that while playing? To me it would only make sence not to, and focus on hitting the right notes.. Allways wondered

@Tarlev Well there are several different reasons for this, the first being in order to play music well, you must feel it. So during the vigorous parts it helps to "jump". Also the nature of the piano in order to make those notes stand out you must press the keys quite hard and quickly, causing some jumping on your part. At this level of playing your not focusing on hitting right notes, but more of musicality, if you were focusing on hitting only correct notes, the music would not sound very good

But even this wonderfully talent pair could not make good music from the titel part, which lacks real strength and only a Hollywood kinda big emptiness, a wannabe heroic - but fails - like the main music theme of eg. Superman. I guess managers dictated to poor John Williams - whom I appreciate highly! - to compose such a theme that is similar to the ones of other movie successes. Pity.

Luckily Williams made eg. Phantom Menace theme too, which is top - to me.
