Tendonitis? I know the feeling. But it's not bad enough to keep me from playing my snare. Not yet anyway. Damn that's awful. I feel so bad for her man. That's probably one of the worst ways to leave a corps. :/

@boost2171 when you play like they do at Crown, tendinitis would get worse and worse as the season goes on, to the point where the pain is crippling. She had tendinitis at the beginning of the season, but it just continued to get worse

The new uniforms... I think it's a very modern look for a drum corps in 2010. It IS the second decade of the 21st century. Modern, yet with a classic marching uniform flavor... we've all seen worse.

The snares are wet to make them sound cleaner then what they really are. I imagine the snares drying up as the season progresses.

also..... 1st in drums first two shows then almost a whole point lower then the cadets the 3rd show???? Thoughts?

I don't, Lee Beddis typically tunes quite wet and a tad lower pitched. Check out any line he has worked with over the years. You'll find similar tunings. I personally love the extra body and response, it translate well on the field.

@voicestobeheard @ConnerMello2 and @spursfan4life I think the reason he said that is because being too confident in your ability play clean early can cause problems later if you're not staying focused. Thinking that, "ok we're clean. i don't have to worry about it being dirty again," will get you in trouble. While I'm 99% sure that's not going to happen, it can. More of a high school thing, but still.

I was there last night and they were pretty darn clean on the field considering it was the start of the season. The Brass on the other hand.....a few phasing issues in the Danzon. But an amazing show! And yes.. Ashley is beast!!

It's the first show of the season, she's center snare, and they're clearly not as clean here as they ended up being. So yes, I think it's necessary. Maybe as the season goes on it might not be, but I think it's fine here. It's unfortunate she wasn't able to finish the season because of her tendonitis, but she did get to share rack with my friend Brennan and everything worked out well for her!
