When change is necessary most turn to violence as the fastest to achieve it. The bad thing about that is that violence feeds upon violence and it only creates more ruining lives in the process. Peaceful protest will accomplish the same thing, just take much longer, and people won't die. Don't get me wrong I am 100% for our soldiers and support them every way I can, but violence always has loose ends and it will always come back to haunt you.

@Unlegified Of course there are consequenses in things like war. But the consequenses for not doing anything can and will often be much worse. Take WW2 for an example. Had Britain and Russia surrendered, and the US and Canada not interviened. All of Europe would be under German control. And all Jews living in Europe would be killed. Japan taking control of the entire Pacific. War and violance can be a necessary evil. And while it can bring up the worst in people, it can also bring up the best.
