2) I don't know, but that's not a reason to put "goddidit" at the end of it.

3) We evolved that way: more compationate homo habilises (i guess) made the tribe thrive and surpass others making it better at surviving. (religion however does the oposite of that).

Their answer to 2 was the Big Bang is their god who, somehow (unknown to everyone) brings forth order from and explosion. This is coming from people who believe ANYTHING can happen over time, so they probably are waiting for the spaghetti monster to show up.

1) I know i think, i think therefore i am. If i do not exist, none of this is relevant. I further know i did not borrow other's ideas but i did assimilate their knowledge to form mine. What is wrong with that?

2) Same reason there are specialised animals while unspecialised are rarely found in the fossil reccord. If something fails @ existing, it doesnt exist. Furthermore, attributing supernatural powers to things does not explain them, just puts a new kind of "i dont know" label on it

The first question is intellectually dishonest.

The Second question as Scrapheap stated plagues all peoples minds. It is also dishonest because it forces people to choose between two mutually exclusive ideas, that are in no way a representation of what a rational person believes.

As for the 3'rd question, the truth brings progress, if all I did was wrong I'd be in jail(and I have no reason to do wrong), and good and evil don't exist.

1) I provisionally accept the findings of science to be true, because they are self-correcting.

2) There's no way to prove an answer to this question one way or another. This problem also plagues the theistic view.

3) Because truth provides us with pracrical results.
