The Muslim Religion was formed when Christian Missionaries came to Saudi Arabia to teach the locals to dispense with their archaic Pagan living practices. i don't have to research...the Qu'ran itself and the hadiths are self incriminating. I agree that primitive societies had some customs that are shocking to our modern sensitivity..I am not condemning primitive societies for they didn't know better. I am condemning a man who called himself the prophet of God and the example for all mankind who instead seting the examples of morality fflwd the customs of his primitive society and perpetuated them as something to emulate. The difference between u and me is that u speak false, I speak truth. The (Biased)Media is ur source of Information, whereas mine is the scriptures. Your info is spooonfed to u by the ignorant ppl, whereas me I investigate. I investigate and keep investigating until what was spoonfed to u ppl is no longer spoonfed to me. ok..to be more precise here ..the prophet did not marry Ayesha at the insistence of her father.There are many hadiths that show it was the prophet who desired Ayesha and asked Abu Bakr to gie him his then 6 y/o child for marriage. In fact Abu Bakr was shocked by such a request. He even objected saying he was a foster borther to the prophet which would make the marrieage ellicit. But Moh dismissed this saying they were not real blood brothers so ..it is just okay..LOL !!!

For us Muslims, why the insults. Let the woman speak her mind. She has her own reality and conviction for what she says. probably according to her experience.
However, I say that she really doesn't present to me strong arguments. in fact she confuses Muslims and Islam. Islam is the source and the source is what I see pure. Muslims are like all humans those who dont lieve by the quran. Ayan does not show me, whhat fundamental of Islam she doesnt agree.. so I think its a weak argument.

I agree. Why the insults? She's hurt and angry and frustrated...as I am, and we all should be. Given her terrifying upbringing, all she knows of Islam is what she learned from people who confuse Islam with cultural practices and negligent interpretations.
Still, I think she meant for her distinction to be between Islam and the dangerous state the ummah finds itself in today because of (among many other things) that sort of ignorance and the only cure for it is education.

It's unfortunate that someone as ignorant as her is speaking on behalf of Islam. What a shame that she was even allowed. She learned a few big words and fooled people in to thinking that she's a well educated, well spoken lady. It's contratory to her real self.
