Wouldn't it be great if these guys could use their creative skils to tackle serious issues like the fact that 28,000 children uneccessarily die of starvation everyday rather than their silly spats? 3 Million Africans die every year from Malaria, which is curable, and they're singing about gangster shit. I know Africans that would love to have the opportunities they have had. And then people buy their records because they think it makes them gansta! Let's get back to reality people!!

I agree with you. I think hip hop needs a revolution but if you like music that discusses real shit then you should listen to Lupe Fiasco, Immortal Technique, RebelMat, and many other great lyricists. There is some real good hip hop out there but most of it is underground.
