Speaking from a culinary perspective, this is bullshit. It cooks in its own juices.... I doubt this is better for you than a grilled burger. A fried/sauteed burger? Of course. this is healthier. Fried/sauteed burgers not only cook in their own juices, but you add more fat when cooking them.

I think I found a site where you can buy your own steamer oven for making your own steamed burgers. The home verison is pricey, the bigger one is almost $500.

I also believe I've found the kind of cheese they use too! But I'm not sure about the cheese. I belive its an aged white sharp cheddar.

Ted's is the Absolute best In burgers. many places in meriden try to outdo them and it is just not possible. No one does it better than Ted's. Every time i talk to someone in meriden who says they do it better i have to laugh at them or just smile and say "That's nice. Im going to Ted's" If you ever come to Meriden Ct and want to eat something that will blow your mind. Trust me Go to Ted's on broad st. Just ask anyone in town where it is and they will bring you right there.
