Even after all these years of listening to Roots I still find his lyrics mind boggling. Whether we are supposed to take each line at face value or delve deeper I am unsure. But still they never cease to amaze. There is a part of me that really wants to know what the fuck he is talking about though. However at the same time I think that's what makes his music so magical, it's thought provoking and most of the tracks are chillingly beautiful.
