Friends, just ignore the asshats. Once again, amazing footage, this is a good representation of a Sunn 0))) experience if you have a good sound system with an EQ, the audio is much better than the average YouTube clip. Thanks for sharing!

I've watched a few Sunn 0))) vids and read through the comments, and I love the fact that like me most of the folk writing have just read or heard about the band somewhere, thought 'hmm, that sounds interesting, must check them out on youtube' and are having a reasonable and sensible discussion about difficult and 'extreme' music.

And yes, I'd like to see them live but no, I couldn't listen to this all the time.

i basically know nothing about Sunn 0))) (stumbled upon them on youtube), and the genres of music i listen to are generally much different from this, but holy crap at these two videos, man. the setting of this concert had to be unreal. even if i'm not a big fan of the music, this is absolutely something to experience. the power of the downtuned guitars with that much hardware... the physical and emotional feedback is there. the whole church thing has me a little creeped out to be honest lol

That said, I think the religious bullshit speeches that have been delivered in this desacralised and therefore ex-religious building were far more offensive than this. In fact I'd prefer to listen to a lawnmower any day over a priest or an imam, as should everyone else.

Furthermore, just a small factual correction: they're not beginners.

this must have been extremely loud. Thats at least 1200 watts spread over 64 12 inch speakers. Im guessing they have bass bins too for even more. Plus the stage monitors. Thats a special kind ear killing loud.

I cant even imagine how expensive it was to fly that gear over to europe. Zoiks.

The church isn't abandoned. It's no longer used as a church, they turned it into a concert hall. Too many churches in Belgium, and not nearly enough christians to fill them up. Haha
