Please -I don't want to fight about what I posted. I know it takes one idiot to close down a farm. Like the one next to my house. One man from the city was allowed to hunt .The opening day of deer season ,that idiot had 11 other hunters with him. My neighbors would take corn from his field. So the farmer thought I was too. Not once would the thought of me stealing any thing.
You have every right to Post your land. I know some people I would not let near my land. I would be willing to work on a farm for a place to hunt. I am a Vet and partly disable with rods in my back . The signs are up land owners and dreams are being crushed . Home of the free. Only for the Rich. Lucky I have a uncle with a farm but its also getting to many hunters. FACE IT. Hunters don't like to share. Maybe some day YOU will be on the outside looking in.
In Pa the rule is ,the buck must have 3 antlers on one side .The state was trying to get more trophy . Well it did work. Larger trophy ,but this back fired, Land owners posted land because of a large trophy on there land. So many people are looking for a place to hunt. Most gave up and stop hunting. Pa you are allowed to use a Crossbow. The State was trying to get more hunters in the woods. It worked for a year and now you see crossbows on sale .NO PLACE TO HUNT.
these guys are grown men what a couple of assholes. I would shoot them and say I thought he was a giant pig... just hide the blaze orange though after
@chunkymom2110 If you don't post the property, you can't do anything about tresspassers/poachers, etc. Most places have specifications about the signage, but if you want to try and do something legally against trespassers, you have to "stake your claim" , so to speak- if you don't, they will always lie and say "Oh I thot it was public land" or other lame excuses - and you have to be able to prove your claims..
in virginia it is illegal to travel onto land that is privatly owned unless written permission is given by the owner. you are allowed to retrieve dogs with out permission but you must not be carrying a weapon. in order to retrieve game that has fallen on private land the owner must give you permission(most will i cant think of why a land owner would want a rotting corpse on their land) the fines are $500 for unposted and i believe it $1000 plus possible jail time for posted. go to walmart and
i used to be a hunter like these guys........then i took an arrow to the knee!

@goerizal1 It's called not going on ground you don't own or having asked the person that does own it. Then your not called a trespasser.
