@MDKUN Because it's good. Not saying it doesn't sound like those bands, but those bands don't make music like this anymore, and us 90's junkies needed this. Yes it may sounds alike, but still good. Plus it's ot like they stole songs from those bands or anything, they just sound similar. Dino, Sonic, Pavement, MM all sound alike, why not complain about that? Because it all came out the same era? Who cares. Enjoy the music.

i went to sxsw, great experience. this guy is confused about smith wests being the most hyped artist at the festival....definetely not. people were way more psyched about odd future and james blake. not to mention antlers, dead milkmen reunion, and toro y moi. any way....great show

Their sound is so far beyond their years. Amazing band. Really loved the show a few weeks ago (Yuck opened for Tame Impala at the Wonder Ballroom in Portland, Oregon). It was sweeeet!
