There is a scene where roper (john saxon) is thrown by a girl. Bruce lee actually instructed the girl on the set how to throw saxon. Lee had many different techniques he had picked up from training with many martial artists. In fact lee favored low kicks which came from wing chun, while training with norris lees philosophies on kicking changed and he started working on high kicks. Lee was like a sponge he soaked up all of the knowledge around him

the cuts hahn puts on lee' s face with his claw- hand was suggested by bruce lee, in a moment of inspiration , during a rehearsal of the fight , his idea was that by having the streaks of blood in identical patterns on both sides of his face, this would resmble the " war paint" indians wore when going into battle . effing  brilliant ..
