there is nearly literally no difference between the 2.3 gingerbread build and the 2.2 froyo. seriously ive watch about 50 videos and i can notice anything new.obviously besides from a few more colours added by the producers probley using paint

@Sinking09 Android 2.3 (gingerbread) introduced new stuff UNDER the hood, mainly for developers. The new things were very much updated and improved 3D gaming, decreased lags in scrolling in menues, a new "garbage collector", that will elimenate lags while scrolling around.

Android 2.3 also introduced better audio for games. Developers can input audio in the games without making the processor lagg.

Checj out the official Android 2.3 video on youtube, and you'll find many great new things. :-)

I bought this phone. My main issue is the battery length. This morning as I turned it on, the battery level was at 'red'. I don't know as It was charged the night before and I hadn't used it. I had to turn off gps/wifi and other settings to stabilise it somewhat. But isn't that what a smartphone is for? The second is the video playback. The quality of watching movies is not good.

@shussey100 try re-calibrating your battery. use your phone till it dies. turn it back on, use it some more until it dies. do that a few times, then charge it up to 100% with the phone off. you should notice a marked improvement in battery life. it worked for me.

Haven't seen a Android vid in a while from you guys. Good to see one.

Most people don'e like Gingerbread, but it's just a .1 differ. What did they expect? Every OS needs little tweeks in between major overhauls. I think it needed these polished threads to make it look more mature and come together. The flashy features alone would have not done it. I hope higher res comes in play for mobile as well.
