Hey! I have POTS too. it's so sad, but i'm living my life in a normal way. I'm from Brazil. In my country, POTS is a mistery for the medics and nobody knows it. Your video is so much amazing. My favorite about POTS. what's the song in 4:53? i really loved *-* sorry for my bad english :(
I also have POTS and have been dealing with it for many years. I know how difficult your life is and how everyday is a struggle. You are a strong person, so hang in there cuz you can make it!!! Thanks for doing all that you do to bring this illness to the public and inform millions of people!!!
Shannon you have a great perspective on this and have already learned some valuable life lessons about not judging others/making assumptions, and about counting your blessings. You're a survivor! (And you have the best parents in the whole world, I can vouch for that, having known them since we were your age! :-)
All the best--and good for you for taking this opportunity to get the word out about this condition.
You are an exatraordinary and brave person. You truely are. I would have no idea if I was in your situation what I would do. I understand completely with the taking health for granted because I was born with Hip Displasia and I can't walk right like everyone else can, and I'm so happy I can even walk. You're truely an amazing person.
Rad, your video is pretty amazing. I'm a fellow POTS sufferer (28 yrs old, had it for five years, unable to work at the moment) and it was fantastic to see someone else with this illness share their experience in such an eloquent and lucid way. Thank you.
What a wonderful attitude you have, turning a negative into a positive. I hope you can find your way to fulfill your dreams. Thanks for sharing this, it taught a good lesson in life.
aw thank you! yeah anxiety is definately NOT fun. it's pretty much terrifying. and i don't mind if you're older. if you like my videos then watch away! =P
Thank you for lettings us know more about you. You seem to be a great person, and even just over video you are affecting all our lives for the better. Much Love!
Yeah. Life can get you down, I've died once. It wasn't much fun. So, do as much as you can, have fun. Don't die, there isn't a light, it's just nothingness...
No, I have a friend who has died 5 times, I died for maybe 30 seconds until I was shocked a bunch and my heart started pumping again. It was chaos, a real scare to everybody I know.
i'm a firm believer in everything happening for a reason, regardless of how unfair and unreasonable it all seems. You seem like you gained a lot of admirable attributes from what you've been through and it's clearly helped you empathize with others, which is never a bad thing. You're a strong girl, so keep on articulating how you feel and being you and I'm sure your life is going to turn out great, even with the damn POTS!
