I never heard the name Ron Paul till I saw a group of enthusiastic young people waving signs here in the OC. No other candidate gets this kind of visibility. He doesn't need CNN/FOX. After finding out that Ron Paul will bring the troops home from Iraq in months not years, I contributed to his campaign - a first for me and I'm 46 yrs old.

I think the laugh comes from putting Biden on the spot. "What have you done" comes across as a very different type of question than "are .." If he isn't quick on his feet it would sound like he's done nothing for young people and doesn't care about them, which would make him look bad.

I have more respect for Joe Biden than I do for most politicians.

That said, I'm all for Ron Paul.

One other point I may make on the point of the video is that I do think young voters will be involved more this year. We're still in Bush's war, still fighting in Afghanistan, have threatened attacks against Iran and really, the world is pretty f-ed up. And I really think young guys like myself have this fear that if it gets worse, there may be a draft. So I think they'll come out and vote for someone who can get things under control so a draft won't be necessary.

I think young people are involved when politicians tell the truth and are authentic. Joe Biden is the most authentic person in this race, hence the little laugh at the beginning. Fact is a lot of us are apathetic--as far as turning out at the polls. But this young person will turn out for Joe Biden in January.

Amen to that... Joe Biden truly is the main reason I'm heavily interested in this year's race. I can remember casually watching the debates early on, but as I heard Biden speak more and more, I just became infatuated with the man and have been closely paying attention ever since. Biden inspires with his knowledge and honesty.
