People always hype up 12/21/2012 as the end of the world. But just as with the y2k scare in 2000, where everyone was in a frenzy and panicking because they thought that technology wouldn't work, would shut down, malfunction, or enslave us, this will also turn out to not be some natural apocalypse as people make it out to be...but what will come of it will be mass chaos and panic by the public because of these post apocalyptic beliefs. We will just see a repeat of 2000 as far as i can see...

Just watched this movie yesterday. The plot was so nice and fascinating. I wonder is this the Mayan prophecy will really happen? But what I know is the movement of Earth's crust is true. Anyway the movie is superb.

You're right. People are getting so hyped up about 2012. Yet, the real interpretation is wrong. Destruction will not come to Earth. Once the calender is meant to end, a new ERA is to begin.

People are afriad of the unknown, including the past, the future, religion, and etc. The past is not fiction, but religion, what we think could happen in the future (key word, think) is fiction.
