demon altars are rare? 0.o i walked a few min to the left of my spawn and found 3 really close together. 1 underwater 1 just to the right of it in a small cave and another to the left underwater..... spent a few lives beating em with hammers until i wiki-ed em and found out that all that did was kill me and all the other stuff about em.

@ithrewitontheground9 Nope, it doesn't help Terraria uses XNA Run time library which sadly is only compatible with Microsoft products such as Windows and the 360 so if they were to do a Mac version they would have to do quite alot of re-coding

i have the best and the worst luck i broke a shadow orb then the eat of worlds spawned and i had to kill it by throwing dyanmite at it then 5 mins later a goblin army came and killed my npc and after that the eye of chulula spawned and finnally killed my but i still got great drops from it and a dryand spawned in my house so i count it as a win

I find all my demon altars covered in 600ft of water. In corruption areas. So every time I want to summon bosses I have to get trolled by 20 Soul Eaters and a high chance of drowning to my death. This game is fun :3

U should get different colored gel depending on the color ofthr slime you killed. With this gel you could create different colored torches depending on the colour of the gel. Also some animals would be nice, they could drop food.

@renatocarrillolms you can craft "A Mysterious Eye" and "Worm Food" at a demon altar and only at a demon altar. the eye can be made with 10 "Lense" that drop off of "Demon Eyes" and the "Worm Food" can be made by combining a few "Rotten Chunk" and 10 "Worm Tooth". Both the items summon bosses although they can only be summoned at night. the eye is for the "Eye of Cthulu" and the worm food is for the "Eater of Worlds" they can both only be summoned at night. hope I helped :D
