  • We have star partys out this way on occasion , our skys are nice and dark , but I wish there was someone as enthusiastic about astonomy. Thanks

    Daniel.

  • Oh what I wouldn't give for a darker sky. But lately I'll just settle for cloudless.

  • Great video! Thanks so much!

  • Glad you liked it! : )

  • How do you deal with light pollution?

  • Not much you can do about it really other than pick a non-light polluted area. The problem is that the areas where people are walking by tend to be light polluted. Just try to find a spot where people walk by but there are no large nearby lights shining directly towards you. You may want to make a sign or keep a small red lantern just so that you don't suprise them too much when you call them over. But as for light pollution from surrounding cities there isn't much one can do. Sad really.

  • Great video I hope to come over there sometime soon, it looks like fun I could do it in my backyard but I have no idea what the hell I'm looking at!!

  • Since I am neither nice enough nor motivated enough to do what you do, this video wasn't very helpful. :) But it was still interesting to me. If I'm ever heading that way, I will definitely look you up! Maybe I'll bring the food. :)

  • That would be awesome. Bring your guitar too. I need a theme song. ; )

  • I'll try to learn the "Galaxy Song" from Monty Python's Meaning of Life. :)

  • Very educational. Thanks!

  • Great vid, well presented.

  • Thank you my good man!
