anybody remember the phone bar ads from the late 80's, with brunette woman with the big 80's style mobile phone..it had a really catchy jazzy theme music

For any that may be interested ! Upon further research from the information provided by Mahe' I have found the proper title for the building featured in this advert is actually "Wiks Slott" castle Sweeden. You can find further images and information by googling it. I certainly plan to take a visit next time I go to Sweeden.

Thanks to mahemahe for letting me know the answer to this question and I thought I would share it with every one else. The advert was filmed in Upsala Sweeden and the building is the school of classical music. Once again I would urge anyone that may be able to locate a copy of the extended version of this advert to please please try and get it posted.

For many years I have been wanting to see this advert again. It is one of the most memorable from my childhood in the 70s. I am sure if this advert were to be used again it would have a dramatic impact on sales for this product. Just the nostalga alone. Adverts that make such an impact so many years later are truely great. I was astounded this advert did not feature in the recent 100 best advert tv programs

I think (if memory serves) this was not shown during the '70s. This is one of a series of ads from the early '80s; Circa 1983/84 I think.

I'm Mahé Berner-Macaire , (the model)when we did the shooting , it was minus ten degrées ,and I nearly had frozen feet ,thirty years later I still remember, but the chocolate was excellent

Where was this ad filmed? It looks like it's meant to be Russia, but I very much doubt the then USSR could have been used as a location at the time it was made. It's a very stylish advert, and you look absolutely gorgeous in it. :-)

Musical compositions of T.V themes and commercials of the 70's in my opinion, were of such a high standard, But the music for the black magic chocolate ads impacted me deeply, as a young boy, like no other music had. The music and the melody has stayed with me, after decades of not hearing it; Simplybeautiful. However, I seem to remember a longer version with a harpsichord-like sound between the flute phrases.
