@luanodesign Hi. I built my own support using wood in an 'A-Frame' and the n suspended it from the ceiling using thin copper wire. You can fabricate one easily with wood and clamp your camera on using 'Velcro' tape or a G-Clamp.
@aslamartnet Thank you for answering my comment I am very happy! hugs :) ahhh look at my videos and rate designs please if you want, I'm Brazilian so do not be surprised my video hehehe! Thank you!
Ah, but art is subjective, so it's a case of whatever works for you. Many great early car designers were self-taught such as the Italian in house designers who worked for 'Fiat' and 'Ferrari' to name just two. These great designers would carve designs out of wood from the roof down, and they never even bothered with 'wheels' which as we know only ever come in 'round'.
PLEASE.. to get good at this get Thom Taylor's book "how to draw cars like a pro".. its an older 90s book but certainly still applies to automotive sketches and renderings... you had NO prospective box or lines to start with..THEN you get in your rim ellipses and go from there.. get the book.. can be used on amazon or whatever.. will help you head to doing it "like a pro". hope that helps.
Which automotive school is that then? I made a sketch not an automotive standard rendering for production.I would very much like to see one of your automotive design tutorials.
You say "to get the basics right", and yet, your basics are wrong. The perspective of the wheels/wheel wells are way off, and the is most important part, the base on which you build off the rest of the car. It is the first thing we learn at automotive design school. Don't tell people how to get the basics right, if they are, in fact, wrong.
Great video, you make it look really simple.Have you thought about drawing a nascar race car?By the way I am a ford fan and like you the mustang is also my favorite ford car.
@jokerswild1963 Thanks for the comment. I went through a phase when all I drew was NASCAR racers, but now Iove to draw my own. Yep, the Ford Mustang is one great iconic car.I will get my hands on one someday I hope! Will post a new video soon.
@eestlane1000: It has Porsche lines which I love, especially the 911 Targa. Influence is hard to lose, which is why original designs are so in demand.
what pens do you use, where do you buy ?
