  • II played the knave of hearts who was on trial here it was a great experience.Everyone else in the film who had speaking parts were stars except for natalie Gregory who played Alice, and myself ....Jim Galante. It's a shame that this never plays anymore because of the johnnie depp production.I still think this one's the best

  • @mrboppman1 I forgot to mention that Natalie Gregory's sister, and Irwin Allens wife [who played alice's mother] had parts in this too. this was an Irwin Allen production He has left us. and I,and many other people, miss him greatly. He was a great asset to Hollywood and a prince of a guy !

  • Look at all those hotties in tights! Something sexy about a card soldier..in live action versions anyways.

  • There's just something about Lewis Carrol that is English eccentricity through and through. I just don't get that feeling when watching an American cast.

  • So cute. But I prefer the one in 1951

  • I was the person on trial here " the knave of hearts" it was a great experience !

  • Tim Burton!

  • i think the 1999 version would be perfect if this little girl was in it instead of a brunette, they are both amazing though

  • @Jessica164 she was too old to play alice in '99, cause she was born in '75

  • lol at the end was funny she fell head first XD hahah i couldent stop laughing

  • creepy.

  • hey guys... if ever your looking for the movie Alice in Wonderland... try to visit theater movies 4free (dot) (com)... you can find it there and lots of other latest movies... enjoy

  • aww she's cute

  • okay.......

  • how do u get this many views?!?!

  • i'd have to step on them cards!

  • For those who may/may not be keeping score at home, 1 mile equals 5,280 feet.

  • I think my favorite line in this entire movie is "And you really ought to stop yelling off with everyones heads. It's a terrible habit you have!"

  • @sugar4585 Mine is 'I will NOT hold my tongue. Hold YOURS!'

Its an old fashioned equivalent to today's 'STFU'

  • this is my favorite version ever!!... though i don't know why... i don't even like the Disney version...

  • "Your GROW-ing young la-dy!" 8T

  • aww alice is just a baby here

  • I used to love this version, even more than the cartoon when I was younger.

  • "Your growing young lady"

    What the heck...

In the credits, it says the name of that black cat is Troy Jordan.

The name Troy is a lady's name?? I thought Troy is a guy's name.

  • Perhaps it's a guy playing a girl's part.

That's why it's called ACTING, you know.

A man played the Duchess in the 1972 version.

  • Look at all those men poking at her feet with the spears.

Alice could have so easily seriously hurt them..they were just poking at feet not realy hurting her!

She could have stepped on those guys jabbing at her--oh well-- fun to imagine!

  • i saw this when a little a lot of times!! a lot of 80's celebrities appear here

  • Few people know this, but Alice was a Wing Chun master (LOL).

  • the little girl is so cute.

  • I would have stepped on the Queen if I we're Alice gosh this little girl is so cute such a sweet voice! :)

  • HAHAHA You can see the top/end of the set at the top right corner at some parts (like 0:24) HAHA wow that's COMPLETE failure...

  • epic fail!

  • Heh, i didn't even notice it the first time

  • @stargirlme65 XD funny how we notice those things

and the boom mike above her head when she's interacting with the chess pieces in the sequel

  • I played the "knave of hearts " in this[ the one on trial.] This was a very enjoyable experience.Sad how many in the cast have left us.This production will be watched and loved from eons Jim Galante

  • I'm trtying to duplicate the Queens outfit, I wish I could get the head piece right.

  • Thst cat looks so scary to me. Reminds me of the characters in the Inkheart movie.

  • creepie

  • This was cool movie!

  • OMG, I remember this from when I was 8, a good version of the movie!!! Cant believe I found it on Youtube!!

  • omg was the lady who said "the queen should chop her down to size right now" at 0:49 sutton foster??

  • This movie was made 23 years ago

  • my page is done!

  • nice court growth (???)

  • I don't get it, what were they poking at? Her feet, and her ankle??

Were they attempting to kill her by jabbing her with those spears in the feet/ankles?

  • @happy7117 she was too tall for them to try and stab her in the head.

  • Man, if I was tall as Alice there looking down at those men poking at me, I would have picked them all and hurled them across the set!!

Then we'd have dead actors. Not pretty.

  • of course if she were growing, it wouldn't be a movie, and there would be no set or actors....

  • if i ate the mushroom i would have kicked that red queen's ass and ate her in heart beat

  • lol, that stupid queen with the horrific outfit the crewmen made her wear (who the hell played her, Jayne Seymour?!) acted like her vagina was on fire at 3:17!

  • More like Jayne Meadows

  • @spee9 Jayne Meadows actually. She's still alive.

  • LOL, I thought she was going to say the queen should chop her dick off at 0:53!

  • @spee9 XD I notice she paused a bit before saying 'down'

  • Ouch... the end must have hurt =/ lol

  • THANK U 4 POASTIN this version my alltime fave

  • I like the 1999 version better

  • I agree. But this is from 1985. A big jump there ^_^.

  • Yeah, but even the 1983 version seemed better (in my opinion) LOL

    I'm so screwed up :P

Ah well. Love Alice in Wonderland anyway.

  • i also agree but i also like this one.

  • No way, dude! The 1999 version leaves a lot out. This version does an through the looking glass too. They don't even make her dress or hair right in the 1999 version. It's not supposed to be yellow, it's blue. And not brown hair, light, whitish brown!

  • why yes he was as a matter of fact!

  • Lewis Carroll must have been off his tits half the time! lol.

  • jabberwocky

  • Alice says the Knave's family miss him very much. Technically, the King and Queen of Hearts IS his family.

  • Man I wonder how much cocaine was roaming around that set

  • whoh very odd interesting nun the less

  • what the hell...

  • i've seen loads of versions of alice but i've always wanted to see this one. please post the whole movie, if it's not too much trouble

  • I have a family movie posted on You Tube of me watching this scene when I was 8 years old in 1991! My original tape ended at the part when she says "And one of the worst feelings in the whole world is to be homesick." I am so glad this is on DVD now! My Pt 2 ended around the part where the Dragon was chasing Alice in the castle. Now everyone can see this in the full format, commerical free, and great sound and video!
