I was wondering if they ever was gonna make a new Driver game. Since they had New York City in PL and Miami in this one, San Francisco has to be in the next one cos it was there in the first ever Driver game as the second choice city.

mersenaries right, the cars are all of different time periods (istanbul are oldest, then miami then nice i THINK) but the game itself takes place in 2005

Actually it is in the year of 2005. you can see that because of (for example) the phone that Tanner and Tobias uses is some Nokia from 2005. It has also pretty modern houses, some cars are new models, and the game also offers some newer kinds of weapons like the SPAS 12 Shotgun... so it is in 2005 the game takes place...

@zzyoman Actually you can see a 2003 Nokia phone in the scene when Tanner and Jones are in Tanner's pool. This don't match with the cars models that are from three decades ago, so maybe the phone is just product plasement.

@luis22892 They can't have all modern cars in the game,there are late 90s model cars because the game takes place in 2004,and people still drove cars from the mid-to-late 90s aswell as modern cars from 00s. That is also why the 2003 Nokia phone can be seen.

It isn't sure that he is dead =) because the final cutscene doesn't actually say "he is dead" and there is an easter egg in driver parallel lines where it stands on the wall "Tanner Lives" :P

in my opinion driver 3 is better than parralel lines, sure parralel lines has good ingame music and slightly better graphics, but driver 3 has a way better story and characters, and driving is so much better in driver 3 with the huge jumps and stuff like that, and its so funny aswell, tryin to kill urself in ways, once i died standin up hunched over, shotgun in the back lol
