my grandad used to have shop selling these instruments and teochew opera costume at Merchant Street, known in teochew "tong chi zua" my grandpa shop is Teck Heng... very memorable childhood i spent there.

My mother is a teochew...i used to hear my late grandparents speaking teochew...good memories. I was expecting to see swatow, but seeing my home, singapore is not too bad.
