It's hard to define their music. They have hard rock riffs, but they are also jazzy and a bit bluesy, added with some great rock ballads here and there. And they do it good too, makes into their own style. It's a shame they never rose to greater fame like Zeppelin, Boston or whatever.

The Good Rats put on one of the best stage shows of any group from NYC in that era. Too bad they never got the following they deserved. This was one heckuva group and may well have been the most under rated Rock group ever.
I loved listening to them on WLIR-FM back in the day. What a time that was!
