I am a single employee business and only used OSBL to design and host a website. I'm annoyed that I will have to pay for this very basic site tool as well as a whole host of features sharing features I will never use. Not only that but now I will have to completely copy my site manually and lose all my reports/analytics; I was excited that maybe they would have added more customizable website features as it's paid now, but no....
The only difference I can see in OfficeLive & designing a website in O365, is the "member login". Great for groups, customers & instructors! You should be able to pick up the cost of the $6 per month/$72 yearly in order to get this up & running & keep it that way.
Now how many are going to cross over from OfficeLIve to O365 remains to be seen. But I like the Member Login & the wheels of cash as spinning as I type this . . .
The public site in O365 Beta is pretty different from SharePoint, having more in common with Office Live Small Business, actually. The internal sites in O365 is where you see the full SharePoint experience. Hope this helps!
