A friend of mine owns a retired cruiser and I was looking on eBay to see what they all had for sale a couple weeks back when I saw that car. Nope. A suspect isn't secured until he's searched and cuffed. In the seconds that cop was alone against the criminal the crim could've pulled a knife and killed the officer. The officer was alone for only a few seconds, but thats enough time. He did what he had to do.
