I was born in USSR in 1955, and I have problem to choose the man I will marry or to have terminate my pregnancy if I need it (for free).Now I live in Israel and even in religious country, women who not religious, have liberty to decide if they want the kid or not.

If you will talk about technical progress, I would say today is much better than it was in 50-60. But morally women lost something they never gain - respect.

Some women have very low self-esteem and they use sex to make themselves feel good. But with age and when a beauty is gone, the only thing they have is a sexual obsession. I am 55 years old, and nobody ever forbid me have sex as much as I want, but I respect myself and I didn't have sex with anyone I am not date or marry.

@iskale maybe I am someone from another planet, because I never dreamed to live a fairy tale, my mother didn't give a dam about me and my father was an alcoholic and my mom devoiced him when I was six. I Soviet schools there was no sex talk at all and if I would listen to my school friends I would start to have sex when I was 16, but I didn't. I am normal person and nobody have influence on me. I lived according of my own moral norms.
