My sister gave me one as a present, and it's awesome. I just upgraded it's ram to 2 gb and it works perfectly fine (even for gaming)

I have this too & like it, got rid of malware that got in to it, needed to reformat hd but could not use the erecovery because it said it was`nt it in the default setting... BIG TIP!!!!

I have Test on Ubuntu Windows XP and Seven all work fine but XP have few bug with the Ahci driver, then you should use Windows 7 or Ubuntu it's better.

I got one of that computer Ok i hated it befuase of the Graphic memory is only 8 megs and it cannot be upgraded.

cannot upgrade the cpu and memory.

Acer Tech and Customer support stinks on the phone. its not worth it.

Do you even own this netbook? You can upgrade the memory. Unless I just imagined removing the 1gb stick and putting in a 2gb.

cannot I had to return it. it cannot be upgraded and only stick with only 1 gig. 2 gigs do not work. they changed it so that there are more limits and then the cpu cannot be upgraded. the O.S cannot be upgraded and there is no driver support and no tech support. they clames that do however its fake

I have a 2GB stick in mine and went from XP to Windows 7. So explain how I did that when you are not able to?

If you need tech support, I highly doubt you even know how to operate the computer, letalone upgrade it. Also, what drivers need updated?

Memory is able to be upgraded in the machine. You can only go up to 1.5 GB of RAM though. OS Can be upgraded. I seen it done before.

the best thing you can do with a netbook is take it took school, connect it to your schools internet and just surf some shit or work behind it. it aint ment for games like crisis. if you dont like its poor ram and video card then get a good notebook with 4gb+ ram ddr3 and a class 1,2 video card jees.

No. I think the most enduring game this can run is Counter-Strike 1.6 (from 1998, or any other game that is pre-2003) But if you don't like that, you're SOL.

The video ram on these is pretty low, about 32 or at the most, 64 megs. It can barely handle a Playstation emulator or an n64 emulator to give you an idea.
