@hkjazzable I noticed that, too. But this film was made during the Second World War, years before the proclamation of the People's Republic of China. The March of the Volunteers was simply a patriotic Chinese song.

@impCaesarAvg Well said and you are correct in that point. However, as the composer and the song was known to nobody until the tune became the national anthem of Communist China in 1949. So it is still odd to have it linked to US war planes. I am a Chinese in "free zone" and I am proud of the war effort of China in WWII. But I can tell you that in the Mainland today US is still depicted as sinister devil. Communist authority hate Americans and Korean War is their Jericho.

The world's only flying B-29 is now hangered at the CAF museum in Midland, Tx.

It is a beautiful machine and a tribute to all those who built it and flew it.

The b-29s "Enola Gay" and "Bockscar" were both built under Boeing license at the Glenn L Martin plant in Omaha, Nebraska.

But I think you are correct, Madelyn Dunham was employed by the Boeing Wichita plant during the war, where b-29s were rolling off the assembly line.

I was there at Tyndall AFB when the last KB-29 was flown off to Davis Monthan for scrapping in 1957. It is a BEAUTIFUL Bomber!
