Wow.... what many transgender people go through... This world is just a mess, and with intolerant people who can't accept those who weren't born as what they are, it makes a hell with their lives. I just wish there could be acceptation for those people in general. I've watched many videos of transgenders, and it's opened my eyes about how evil this world and it's inhabitants can be.
I found it great when she pointed out her "acting out, aggressions" due to what she was going through in and out side her home. Many homophobic people, call Lawrence King a bad kid because he acted out in that way, by poking holes in his room with a screw driver etc. HE WAS TORMENTED! LOL Kids act out when they are mentally tortured and have NO where to turn... its sad...
Good point! I have myself been thrown into jail because I acted out by vandalizing a grocery store. Of course, that was at 17, when I was couch surfing for a living...
I believe the "acting out" was in conclusion to drug side effects. You get irritated at the things you love the most but you don't realize it until its too late.

One of the great parts about the stage and having actors perform the true stories of other individuals is that the audience does not always know the sexual or gender identity of actor/actress. Whether this actress is trans or not, does it change the way you "hear" the story? (I know I'm not really answering your question...)
This is the first AboutFaceTheatre video I have seen, but I didn't like it. I guess it's "a" story. It still seems like such a stereotype. I feel like a victim.. again.
i can see how this may feel a bit exploitative. but that wasn't the intention. this story in particular, is a true one, this is exactly what happend to some1.
