that's so stupid.... ok well maybe i am a bit harsh.... it's so inconsistent; there have been characters that when they wore the mask they kept their personality... and that's because their original personality was without inhibitions; so the mask works on people wit or without social inhibitions, the difference is the effect on the personality; joker tyrrel pretorius these some examples of people that used the mask and remained the same;

@bbphnix i think it's about the "inner child" .... it makes the wearer act out and upon the inner instincts : stan wants to just freak out without his fear getting the better of him, pretorius wants to rule it all (but he expresses that even without the mask, so .. he's obviously been meditating on the meaning of life or whatever)
